    Replace factory CD changer

I have a 94 lexus sc 300 that has a factory pioneer 12 disc changer that is having a lot of issues lately. Anyone know if a current pioneer cd changer would be a straight swap with the correct wiring harness connector to the factory pioneer amp? Any help would be appreciated.

So I just signed up for Costco...

I live by myself so I generally only take advantage of certain things at costco but it's still worth the 45 bucks a year for me. The meat section at Costco is great, higher quality and lower cost than anything I can get at the local grocery stores unless they have an exceptional sale going on...

LOL has anyone had to call MS?

So far I haven't had to call MS to reactivate my copy....what's odd about this is I have swapped motherboard & CPU 3 times, hard drives 3 times, and just wiped and done clean installs around 4 times. Which probably isn't much compared to some of you, but I figured I would have had to call them...

    wine rack near baseboard heating

I would recommend strongly against storing it there unless it's really cheap wine. Check out this link for info on temperature effects on wine Link If you want to display, maybe just display bottles of the wines you already drank.

What movie are you seeing this weekend?

I'm thinking about going to see Lord of War, looks like a decent flick. Saw Serenity last weekend and liked it quite a bit, it was pretty corny, but in a good way.

I love this time of year.

Living in Colorado for another month, then back to the northwest (washington) thank god. Fall in Colorado is too short, winter is too freaking cold and spring is too unpredictable-70 degrees on one day, a foot of snow the next day...so gotta say summer is definitely my favorite season here...

What movie have you not seen that everyone raves about?

Saving Private Ryan is probably the most intense war related movie that I've seen since Schindlers List. The opening scene of the landing on Omaha beach is one of the most realistic and horrifyingly graphic war movie scenes I've ever seen. One of the better movies I've seen in quite a while...

1820/2400 on the SAT. I'm screwed

I took the SAT's back in the old days when 1600 was tops too, got a 1280 on it after a hard night of partying....3 hrs sleep and still semi-drunk / hungover. Never took a practice test or read any books. Being sober might have helped though, wasn't able to finish the whole thing.

    Minivan with a stash

Reminds me of a story from several years ago when I lived in Colorado Springs. when you're a parent, will you let your kid roam the internet as you may have did, or would you supervise?

You're way wrong there, ever heard of the usenet forums? You can find all kinds of whacked stuff in those and they've been around for at least 15 yrs or so. The internet has been around for a long time, but it wasn't real user friendly and it was expensive. I don't have kids, but I would...

    Another off-topic question: Air Compressors...

Not your big name brands, but I've had decent luck with the stuff from Harbor Freight. I would think one of these would be good for light home use. We have one at our warehouse that is used mainly for filling tires and the occasional impact wrench or air nailer and no issues so far. If it's...
