not to get off topic too bad, but it's amazing what ffdshow can do. just do a google on it.
I agree that this is interpolating pixels and nothing can replace more data, what I'm saying is that for whatever reason, the xbox HD DVD player does not look as good as my HTPC. it's brighter...
FWIW, I was totally disappointed with the HD DVD player. Granted, I have it hooked up to a 720p Infocus projector, but when I compared 300 on HD DVD vs. my HTPC with upscaling/sharpening/denoising filters, my HTPC was clearly better.
I'm returning the HD DVD player and wait for a 1080p set...
In Nashville I just told the dude at the Geek station that I saw it online (BB online) for $149, he checked it and walked my up to the register. This was in Cool Springs.
Saw this at Costcoin Nashville, TN

CC has it for $999 web only price! I'm getting on! Here's a question: I'm planning on upgrading to have 2 XFX 6800GS cards and I'm wondering if the monitor has to have 2 DVI ports. Please reply if anyone knows of this.
$280 from tigerdirect. Looks like a great deal considering it incl. the wireless adapter. And it is in fact a 3400+ 939pin for those of you who were wondering.

WOW! I had to sweetalk the lady into applying the deal w/o some code that she asked for, but she said since she's been doing this all day she practically had it memorized. Awesome Awesome find.
Cable Club has a round IDE cable that has 4 connectors and connects to 3 devices. I'd like to connect to 2 HD and a ZIP. Is this possible? I thought every IDE channel can only attach to 2 devices. Check it out:

I need some help here. I just installed a Radeon 9500 pro on my 2200+ Epox 8K7A rig. It worked awesome right off the bat, with easy driver installation and patches, but then today as windows (XP pro) was booting I got the Dreaded Blue Screen. It said UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_VOLUME. At the bottom it...
I have a 21" KDS monitor and I need to get a longer cable for it. I was wondering if it is worth it, or basically the difference, between the standard 15 pin connection and the 5 BNC connectors.
