How can I put a webcam stream on my website?
I basically just want to have a way to view my webcam stream when I've turned it on and am away from home. What would I need to do to the website to allow for this?
The only other feature I think I would want is the ability to password protect...
I was going to try to clean my registry but there's no point in it if it won't help.
What other things should I look at to figure out why my PC has slowed to a crawl in the last month.
I've ran Adaware and Kaspersky Anti-Virus and they show that the PC is okay.
In other words, no one knows how to get photos and videos to display on google map pages. There are several other GPS tagged videos and photos on Panoramio and YouTube that don't display on google maps.
I saw this on ebay:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISA...Item&item=360156182659
What advantages or uses are there for buying this item?
Do you save money on your cell phone plan? Or is it something else?
Thanks.
If someone publicly defames another person on a message board (forum) who is responsible if the offended party wants to sue? Is it the forum owner or the person that made the comments?
Any creative types here?
I'm looking for a story idea.
What reason would a successful 26-year old guy go home (from the big city) to his small town for a month?
All I can come up with is that he would do this because of a dying family member.
Is one format better than the other?
Before I saw your note about Handbrake I downloaded something called DVD Decrypter. It looks like all that does is rip the DVD to your hard drive. It doesn't convert to another format.
A friend has a 25 minutes DVD that they would like uploaded to youtube.
It was burned onto a DVD and is not protected from copying.
From what little I understand about youtube is that the uploaded videos can't be more than 10minutes and 100MB each.
What has to be done to the video on...
I just bought the car about 2 months ago. I don't know when pads were replaced last?
Would this car have drum brakes?
I am not sure my fronts are working. When I apply the brakes, my rear-end swings around 180 degrees. Would that mean my fronts are working and my rear brakes are not?
I just bought a 1989 Mercury Grand Marquis and it seems to be in pretty decent condition except that the brakes GRAB immediately when I apply pressure to the brake pedal.
Is this the way it should be on this car?
It's snowy/icy where I'm at and I've spun out more than once recently when...
If someone was to post a message or create a website that said, "I heard that [insert person's name here] was fired for stealing from his boss" can that ever be considered libelous?
Doesn't libel involve false writings? It wouldn't be false if someone said they heard it if they could prove...
I have been looking for a used vehicle and I've popped the hood on 5 cars/trucks and every single one has very dark (almost black coolant) in the reservoir.
I can't imagine that dark coolant could not be a sign of trouble but each person that is selling the car tells me they haven't had any...
I figured someone would have asked about these by now on the forums.
I've heard great things about K&N Filters but I've never tried one.
Have you used them and did they provide any increase in performance for your vehicle?
Thanks for the link.
I'm mostly trying to figure out how a dualsim/twinsim card fits into a mobile phone and how you can use your one phone to make calls from (and receive calls to) a different number.
Isn't there a website that keeps stats of the uptime/downtime of other websites?
Anyone know what that URL is?
I'm curious about the sites mentioned in this thread:
http://forums.anandtech.com/me...id=38&threadid=2131377
Thanks but I've looked into Grand Central (http://forums.anandtech.com/me...d=66&threadid=2129508) and they are not accepting new users at this time. On top of that, they don't offer toll-free or a local number for my area.
Either way, it doesn't seem like it would be a service you would want to reply too heavily upon.
Has anyone used any of these services? If so, does their service go down often or for long durations?
Boy did I get burned on this one. For a passing second I thought about checking their whois and IPs but I figured there's no way that they shared the same nameservers.
The sites sure don't give a hint that they are even remotely related to each other. Maybe some reorganization is going on or...
I haven't been able to connect to J2.com, eVoice.com, eFax.com for a few days. Each one, oddly, has the exact same message on their site.
Isn't it kind of odd that all three of them have the same "undergoing maintenance" message?
I've been trying to sign up for evoice for a couple of days and the site says is "currently undergoing maintenance".
Is this a common occurrence?
Thanks.
Are there any cell phone services that allow the user to have more than one number ring to that phone? For example, one number for personal calls and the other for business calls.
I called Radio Shack and they had absolutely idea if this is possible or even why a person would want it.
Thanks.
