I went back to Newegg today to purchase the similar Samsung deal for $299, but like Buy.com was OOS and price up to $329. So I went to Outpost.com, found this, and pulled the trigger.
This seems like a brand-new design. Not much info on the net, but I did find THIS on LG's site...

Found this last night. Was looking when the 2 hour movie "Razor" was going to show, and DAMN if I forgot it was broadcast 11/24! Now I'll have to rent/but the DVD when it comes out 12/4/7. I downloaded the trial last night but have not installed yet.
I feel the series is one...

I'm Running Forceware 97.92 on my 6800 Go Ultra m170. Awhile back, using Powerstrip, I added some extra resolutions for various reasons. So that I could choose from many other possible resolutions.
Now the problem. I'm trying to run a game where I am unable to pick the res to run at in the...

Quick search didn't find posted here, so if repost sorry!
:)Looks hot to me - retail, VIVO, small rebate, and of course Newegg.
Judgement = Hot? or Not?
In cleaning out bloatware (not that much surprisingly) I found (I believe) CCC along with .NET. 2 entries in Add/Remove Programs for ATI - Control Center (or something like that) & the video drivers. I've no experience with ATI, so this is new to me.
Reading in these forums many people do...
Price is good through 8/6. Thursday the sale price was $164.99, but has dropped today to $149.99 with free shipping. This is the 590mhz/1.6ghz model, the fastest model XFX makes. Not much of a bundle, but it is full retail.

Weekend sale at the egg! This is the overclocked model. Not much of a bundle but this is a great price with only a $10 rebate to hassel over. Prices are falling close to my target, but I'm tempted to pull the trigger on this one!

A quick read shows a pretty balanced article - read for yourself.
I've not played an RPG game before; thinking about buying this one. Anyone's take on FPS vs RPG games appreciated.

Don't have much time - I'm at work. But credit goes to ******. GREAT DEAL! Also comes with DVD burner & 15 months of secuity. You just have to remove all the extra stuff Dell wants you to buy, expecially the $59 bag on page 3. This beats...
When I purchased my Leadtek PCIe 6600GT it came with an nVidia breakout connector. One end plugs into the S-video out on the graphics card, and the other end has the 3 high def connectors plus s-video and normal video for a total of 5 connections. If I output through this pigtail into my high...
See below for my system. I've never seen this in FC on my other PCs. Interior lights are too bright (although HDR is off I presume), and large areas of terrain are pitch black in some areas. Changing quality settings and resolution didn't help. Only thing that worked was using OpenGL are...
If this is a repost forgive me, but I did a quick search and couldn't find anything, so here is the article done 10/26:

Hmmm....So X1000 cannot do vertex texture fetch, which apparantly SM 3.0 calls for and ATI requires a workaround. Nvidia cards fully support this feature. I guess...
:)Bought it through AAFES website. Best price I've seen on this system. You can check my posting in the hotdeals forum!
Anyone here have one of these? This thing will handle anything I can throw at it for awhile.
This is only available to those of us qualified to use AAFES. No link can be provided (it's through AAFES.COM). If you have to ask if you qualify then you probably don't.

Hmm....guess I'm not too surprised by this since the original XBox all came with a hard drive. But if you're going to buy (I won't!) you probably should go ahead and spend the dollars upfront to buy one with a drive.
I have a brand new retail 2800+ I've never opened. It's the one with the Barton core and 333fsb. Purchased an ECS nForce2 Ultra mb/XP 2800+ combo at outpost last year to build a system, but someone gave me a 2000+ XP cpu which I installed on the nf2 board. If need to I can swap cpus out if...
Read many pages on the net that suggested disabling this and using the PC card's driver utility to work with wireless.
Needed an opinion here as I don't really know which is better. My current laptop has always had both running, but I've also had intermittent disconnect and reconnects...

Another X800 card! Looks like the 6600GT has some serious competition. Heck, if you catch good buys you can buy a X800Pro at around the same price, which would perform better. Specs seem to be a neutered X800XL. Things must be getting rough for ATI!
EDIT Benchmarks found HERE...
I've had a wireless setup for over 3 years. Up till recently I used a 802.11b Seimens router and Seimens card for my laptop. It's connected to a LAN cable to the desktop and my cable modem.
Since I sometimes surf the net late at night after everybody goes to bed, I've always left the router...
My old Seimens 802.11b router went out on me last week. It's served me fine for more than 2 years, but now must change to something else. I'm trying out a Netgear WGR614 v6 right now I bought at BestBuy last weekend for $30. Buy.com has Netgear and D-link combo for $35 & $30AR. Right now...
These deals may have been posted earlier, but I'll put both of these here for comparison:
D-Link Combo $30 AR
Netgear Combo $35 AR
Anyone with past experience would be helpful. I bought the Netgear router at BestBuy last weekend. It works OK in general, but the wireless connection...

I already have a 6600GT, but believe this would perform ~somewhat~ better than my card. No, I'm not upgrading to this, but someone shopping I think this would be a better buy.
What do you think? Not many benchmarks for an 8-pipe LE, but should be close at higher resolutions.
Linky Pooh!
Specs:
Geforce 6800LE AGP
Core clock 300MHz
PixelPipelines 8
Memory Clock 700MHz
Memory Size 128MB
Memory Interface 256-bit
Low level 6800 at or below price of 6600GT, but should perform a little better!
