Im presently running an XP2700(333)cpu, 1.5 Gigs of crucial 2700 ram, leadtek 6800, im just not getting the smoothness i want, if i upgrade to a xp3000(400), 2Gigs of 3200 ram, and keep the card would i see a noticable improvement?

Im running a XP 2700/333 system with 1gb of ram, 6800 video, its runs decent, should i upgrade to a AMD64 3400/3500 cpu with a new board and memory (3200) or is AMD coming out with something new that will bring prices down even further, how much of a performance increase am i looking at?

This morning I opened the case and turned it on, just for the hell off it i pressed down on the cpu fan and it went ON and the system booted up fine, is my cpu fan on the way out or maybe something else, any ideas?

when I power up the system the hard drive spins up the video card fan comes on and all my fans come on exept the cpu heatsink fan, I suspect that my heatsink fan went bad and my motherboard protection wont let the system boot up if the fan is bad, I ordered a new fan, any advice?

I installed a Leadtek 6800 and loaded the 7124 drivers, i installed riva tuner, when i unlock the pixel "pipe" or whatever it is i get small grainy particles during 3dmark 2003, when i uncheck it i dont get it, there is about a 500 to 600 increase in my score when this is on, is this an issue...
