They have a high rr rating.
However, I don't think many motherboards will work with this CPU before a
bios upgrade.
This is the desktop replacement version, only 1.6GHz, but with 1MB Cache.

I've just bought an external (buslink 40GB USB2) hard disk for backup
purposes. What I noticed is: unlike internal ones which are turned off
after a while of inactivity, this external one never stops spinning,
even if the PC is powered off! Are all external drives like this?

I have built myself a Athlon 1700+ system in a Sky Hawk jupiter case.

- Replaced power supply's first fan with a papst and disabled intake fan.
- Replaced TI4200's fan with Zalman ZM-80.

I know that the height of Samsung 191T is adjustable, which seems to be an important
feature to me (I don't want to put anything under it to make it higher). Since Dell
1900FP is rebagged Samsung, is its height adjustable as well?

By utilizing the tactics I read from this forum, I now have a very silent PC.
(I changed the fan in the Enermax power supply with a papst 12dB,
changed CPU heatsink to AX-7 and installed another papst 12dB on it).
