    Buying online

I would avoid newegg like the plague. Others seem to have success with them, but whenever I do business with them there are always problems and bad service. I would gladly pay more for any hardware at another store/website than newegg.

Is it possible for a 5' 7" guy to make all his dunks and lose a slam dunk contest?

well when spud webb won the dunk contest (in 1986 i think) his dunks weren't earth shattering, but the crowd loved it so much since it was a 5 foot 7 guy doing them, and the judges went his way.

Aging hipster, returning to the Catholic Church...How Do I....

well, as a 25 year old catholic who gave up religion for lent when I was 16, i can say that talking to a priest is a good start... believe me, the overwhelming majority of priests out there are good honest people and have no desire to molest or take advantage of others. its just not true..its...

    I just bowled a 230!

I never harbored any delusions of grandeur involving me bowling professionally. my average was over 200 for the last 3-4 years that i bowled competatively, but 200 averages are a dime a dozen on tour. it takes more than that. if you win some tournaments you might find a sponser, but for the...

i was lucky enough to bowl 300 a few times..well 4 times anyway...im 25 now, and i stopped bowling competatively when i was 16...back then the good bowling balls were like $125-$150...those balls that are out now definitely cost a bunch more...

    I just bowled a 230!

did you cover the spare in the 1st frame? if you did then it would be 290...if you didnt then yeah its 279. i miss bowling. i did it in so many leagues when i was younger. it was always a nice advantage to be left handed as that gave me a more consistant lane condition throughout a tournament...

    $32. That's all I owe.

Do you have the money garnished from your wages or do you just pay the support yourself? If you have it garnished from your wages, don't forget about postage. The support can just be taken out automatically. But you will eventually have to pay for the postage. My dad didn't know that, and he...

    $32. That's all I owe.

I am 25 years old. My parents divorced when I was 1, and I always lived with my mother. My father never lived more than 15 minutes away, and I saw him all the time. He paid the court mandated child support of $50 a week until I graduated from college. that money wasn't anywhere nearly enough...

Best era for a sports team?

ucla is a strong possibility. the celtics won something like 11 championships in 13 years during bill russell's career so that works too.. as for the yankees, remember from the mid 1960s until 1976, the yankees didn't win anything...and hell, in 76 they were swept in the world series, and...

Kingpin (The Bowling Movie) starring Woody Harrelson and Bill Murray

i think it was ground up. i have worked at a bowling alley, and sometimes the only way to get the ball out was to get your hand in there and try to dislodge. however, also being a bowler, i never liked that movie. it was really funny, but the bowling equipment he was not historically accurate...
