Not the best quality but does the job of testing positioning etc, could be something wrong with the card. Your 650's and tesla will be no problem for this test. My HD 598's don't have any problems.
To me the xonar dolby just seems to add reverb, and phasing tricks about it. I personally...
If you have a local Guitar Center, magnolia-hifi etc around you really should listen to headphones in person before making a decision.
You probably can't go wrong with either set for that price, don't forget to check out the Sony MDR-7506 and Grado SR 60i There all around the same price.
If you really need a built in mic, Sennheiser PC 360. If you need a closed can the pc 350. The pc 360 will blow just about any headset out there away imo They are basically an HD 595 with a mic.
Personally I use the HD 598's with a table mic
I just set the multi to 41 at stock volts to get a little over 4ghz easy.
also you need to disable speedstep I think it is called in bios, so it doesn't throttle it down to 1600mhz etc.
only thing I don't really care for with this mobo is the mouse (g5) problems in the bios, and of course on...
I just bought the last one at the bellevue wa store. Big step-up from my dell 1707 fp haha.
as a side note they have a floor model clearance on 1 Dell U2410 for $229.00 in the bellevue store if anyone is around that needs one.

I'll sniff around the forums figuring out a motherboard for light oc and vidcard now.
happy medium it looks like I will be going the 2500k route. Thanks though.
ya that opteron served well past it's purpose :)
I do have windows 7 64 bit to install in a new machine.
used for gaming and light encoding.
the $500 was just an estimate for a mobo cpu vidcard.
I already bought memory G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600...
So I currently am running an opteron 170 and it's time to upgrade. I have an intel q9550 and windows 7 disks sitting around unused, but finding a motherboard is difficult. I'm wondering if I'm better off selling the 9550 and buying a 2500k ? Either way I'm looking to build a new system was just...
Sure wish another network would of picked this up :( Double dipping just for the "Our Mrs. Reynolds" commentary that wasn't on the dvd set. Great series for those of us that "Got it!"
Since power dvd dropped hd-dvd support in 8.0 ultra, you can have 7.1 deluxe for hd-dvd installed at the same time as 8.0 ultra for blu. .
Hopefully you won't have to worry about that though if they give you good software with that drive.
That cpu with the onboard vid shouldn't have any...

Hi everyone. :)
I'm having problems with 2 sata drives.
Anytime I try to copy alot of files from one drive to another it freezes my computer up.
Running defrag, disk manufacturer tests, scanning for bad sectors (on the J Sata drive) etc freezes up . I scan for errors and it doesn't...
It's a combo of the dvd player and using s-video issue. Does your dvd player up-convert or just upscale ? First try component cables see if that is acceptable to you. I would look into getting an oppo unpconverting player or toshiba upconverting player (toshiba formerly known as hd-dvd players)
Now that's a great deal. Also if you goto the original circuit city you purchased from they can usually printout a receipt of things you have bought in the past. :)
