If you like your job already, and can get that big of an increase in pay, I'd vote for staying like a lot of the other have!
Liking your job = priceless :)
The fund I have is:
Vanguard Growth Index Fund Investor Shares (VIGRX)
I believe this is the same fund you are talking about and it has seemed to do nothing at all since I've had it in 1998. In 9 years I think i've made a whopping $12 overall. :o
Do you recommend that I switch this...
I'm tempted to try Zecco. I've read some positive & negative reviews on them. It looks like for a small investor just buying & selling they are pretty good though. My only concern would be, what if they tank and go under? If I have $500 invested with them for instance, what happens to my...
I did find this info on another site about Zecco:
» Stock Trades - Yes, it?s free and yes, it?s limited. You get up to 10 free market or limit online orders per day, up to 40 per month. After that, they cost $3.50 per trade.
That sounds intriguing though. If you don't trade much that...
That's what I figured. I was hoping there was a better way but it appears not. I do have a mutual fund through Vanguard but it is a growth fund and doesn't yield much return annually. It is one my parents purchased for me a long time ago and I really don't know much about it. I'm assuming...
I've been thinking about investing some money in stocks online. I don't have a great deal of extra cash but I was thinking of picking up a share or two here and there and building my portfolio slowly. My question is, is it worth doing in small quantities? I looked on Etrade & Scottrade which...
For anyone wanting to get Fasterfox working on the new Firefox you need to do the following below:
- Save the xpi Installer on your disk
- http://releases.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla...sions/fasterfox/fasterfox-1.0.3-fx.xpi (You may have to open that link in IE to download)
- open...
I've tried a few options that allow assigning permissions. I'd like to have one where you aren't required to register but can view some open albums or enter a password to view others. That would make it easier overall i believe.
I'm looking for an online photo gallery that will allow me to password protect some galleries but leave others open for viewing. Does anyone know of one?
Thanks,

So for the Beta is the 32bit or 64bit option a better route to go if you have a 64bit processor? I'm thinking of trying to use this as my main OS so I'm thinking 32bit just for driver support alone?
I had the same problem. Go to this site:
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsvista/getready/preview.mspx
At the bottom go to the "Download Now" section and choose country and hit go. Fill out the forms and it will send you a CD-Key!
You could check Musicians Friend (www.musiciansfriend.com) and see what they carry. They have user reviews on all the equiptment which might help you.
I'd advise to save a little more and atleast spend $200-300 which would get you a cheap quality guitar.
I have lived in Indiana my entire life. Like most people have said it's definitely not the excitement capital of the world but most places I've lived here will provide a quiet, safe, laid back lifestyle. I've known quite a few people including my parents that have lived in many other states...
I definitely intend on getting out for some great shots! Just haven't had time yet and thus the pictures from around the house. I'm hoping to get out each weekend this summer and camp, find places to take neat pic's, etc. Should be fun. Thanks for the input!
Listed below are some shots I think turned out good and some bad / not so good. I realize a lot of the problem is probably using the "auto" feature but any feedback is welcome!
The ones I think are descent:
Speaker (Don't say anything about the brand! :P )
Ice Cold Beer
My Cat...
