    Game Jackal

Has anyone tried Game Jackal? It lets you play games without having the cd in the drive. You do however need the original cd to make the profile the first time which lets you do this. Just downloaded it and it works for all the games I'm playing (FEAR, Quake4, Civ4. BF2) and am thinking it is...

    Samsung 710N-2 - 12ms 17" for $260?

Anyone heard anything about the Samsung 710N-2? Newegg has it for $260, and it is supposedly a 17" LCD with 12ms response time. This almost seems too good to be true if the monitor actually performs. The newegg reviewers seem to love it too. The only downside I can see to it is no DVI input.

    6800U spec changed to 350W

Not surprised to hear about this really. In some review they showed the 6800U pulling 10W more than a 5950U and 30W more than a 9800XT. Definitely not enough to warrant a 480W PSU. http://www.gamespot.com/news/2004/05/10/news_6096837.html
