Pretty amazing, and at 3GHz it looks like it was cooled with a Scythe...
I didn't expect the AMD 4x4 to win this battle (and they didn't) but the performance was closer than I thought.
Besides the horrendous power usage of the 4x4 system, it doesn't look too bad. But that doesn't take into account that the QX6700 is, by default, clocked lower, probably...
This is the latest addition to the series. I'm a big fan of the Splinter Cell games and this is the lowest price I've seen. It's part of GoGamer's "48 Hour Madness" so it won't last too long.

If you're looking for a good deal on a high quality power supply (Ultra doesn't count), this place has very good prices on a lot of Silverstone products. For example the SilverStone ST85ZF Zeus 850W Active PFC PSU is only $240 (Newegg wants over $280) Plus they have the SilverStone Element...
This is the best deal I've seen on these heatsinks. They provide excellent cooling as well as being near silent during operation. From my experience the X2 is much better than the Zalman VF900 when used with the X1800/X1900 series video cards. Here is a great review on the heatsink...
eWiz.com has the Asus P5B Deluxe motherboard for a much lower price than others.

I'm picking up a copy of GRAW, it looks fun. Oblivion is on sale too, I already own it and really enjoy it. Gogamer.com has cheap shipping ($2.99 I think). These deals end in a few hours so pick them up while you can!

Coolerguys is a great company, I've bought a lot from them and have always been happy.

The V1 is an amazing cooler, though it is harder to install than most. I've owned both the V1 and the VF700 and the V1 is anywhere from 8-10C lower in load...
AC Accelero X2 (For X1800 and X1900)
AC Accelero X1 (For 7800 and 7900)
Check this out for a great review:

PM me if you can't find coupon... (hint it's "in the title")
I'm a little disappointed with Epox. If anyone cares here's a run down of my experiences:
Bought motherboard (4PDA2+) early January. I put my PC together only to find that the computer wouldn't post. I took everything apart and tried to boot with the basics, still no post. I installed the...
I've been increasing the speed of my 6600 GT and decided to also increase the cooling. I got a Panaflo fan I had lying around and it mounted to the bottom of my case. I can't find my digital camera USB cable so I "Painted" it:

For some reason my tems went up 1C...
I'm hoping this is a software error or something but my eVGA 6600 GT is really weird.
For starters my case has great air flow and according to my motherboard (DFI NF4 Ultra-D) the CPU idles ~27-30C, just to show you that case flow should not be an issue.
I am using the built in nVidia...
I recently took off the stock cooler on my Vience and bought a Cooler Master Hyper 6. This thing is huge and is supposed to cool just as well as a cheap water system. Well here is the setup and problem:
3200+ Vience @ 2.7 Ghz
1 Gig Corsair XMS
MSI K8N Neo2 Platinum
6800 GT
1. Even...
This is kind of a rant just to let you know...
Alright so I played the BF2 demo and I really liked it. I immediately decided to purchase the game and Amazon had an offer that appeared to give you the game and a free headset for $50. I planned on spending $50 anyway so a free headset sounded...
Alright, I have done my research and I know most (if not all) of you prefer the 6600 GT. However, I'm looking for the cheapest GFX card I can find will play HL2 flawlessly till the next generation cards are released. I'm only going to be playing HL2 and CS:S with a little Far Cry and UT2004 on...
Not a bad deal besides the mail in rebate. Another good thing is that this monitor has a 3 year warranty which you don't see too often, as well as free ground shipping.

AMD 4000+'s were $720 in January, then in Feburary they dropped to $630, now at Monarch Computer they are down to $540. Still way too much for me, but some of you may be interested...

I have looked over a lot of topics that resembled mine, but I could not find a real consise answer to my problem.
Ok, I have the money for a 4000+ and a 3800+ but if I can get away with getting a 3500+ without sacraficing a lot of preformance in 3D applications I would definately prefer it...
