I bought two of them in a previous Woot. They were the black top drives. I use them in RAID in my HTPC for recording TV. No problems after 4 months of use.
What comes on the Dell Depends on what kind of Dell it is.
Dimension or Inspiron = loads of crap
Latitude, Optiplex, Precision, or Poweredge = Fairly clean Windows install
These rackmounts suck ass. We have three of them sitting in a corner. For 4u case, they don't hold much in the way of hardware. If you want a rack, go to servercase.com. for 100 shipped you can get a REAL 4u that has 6 5.25" bays, a slim CD-ROM bay, and 5 3.5" bays.
Entered this morning when I got the email. I wonder if you can trade down if you win first prize?
Seriously, who would want a trip to a Microsoft Launch event over an Xbox 360...

Buy a 7800gt from December 6 to ? and get a free game. Game is yet to be announced, hopefully it will be F.E.A.R. The 7800/ motherboard combo is also good for the free game.
Wake me up when they release a bundle that says Xbox 360 Platinum + 1 extra wireless controller + 5 games of your choice. But then no one would buy the crap games, would they...
I am seeing the 300 online as 79 after the 50.00 rebate. 10.00 rebate is gone. When I was at Fry's yesterday, I tried to get them to give me the Maxtor 300gb SATA for the Outpost price, but they wern't going to do that...
I was at the Sacramento Fry's and picked up the 300gb drive for the same price this afternoon. They had a TON of them, but they were on a pallet near the check out area.
This is a better deal to me as there is no rebate and Leadtek does not have a lifetime warranty.
Evga 7800gt for 319.00 and its clocked higher than the Leadtek

Man they want to milk this franchise for all it's worth. I love how Paramount's MSRP is 3909.99. If the movies are 20.00 each (their price) then they still want 140.00 per box set when some of them have been out for years. And i thought X-Files sets were bad...
Or you can do what I did and get them all through Columbiahouse. I got the first 7 in an enrollment package and got First Contact free with funcash.
This is typical for Paramount. Wake me up when they drop the prices on the season box sets...
False Advertising!!!??? Excuse me for one second...
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Ok, I'm back. So where is this newspaper advertisement that shows this special?
The non GT 6600's do not have the connectors. The latest Nvidia driver allows cards to run in SLI without the bridge. These cards did not become SLI certified until the latest driver set came out.
I had been holding out for the Ahanix MCE case, but I ended up buying the original Overture when it was on sale for 70.00 at Antec. It looks a bit too much like a computer for my likings, but the internal layout is outstanding.
How so? The crossfire boards will likely cost as much if not more as SLI boards will. And you still have to buy two cards just like NVIDIA. And because it is a new technology, when it finally does come out there will be plenty of price gouging.
Heh heh heh. I don't think any one would use the words Big Water and best ever in the same sentence. One of the best kits out right now is the Swiftech kit with the storm waterblock.
So don't order from them.
I bought Half Life 2 gold off of steam when it came out. This is a great deal for extra copies of HL2 for a LAN. Even if you have to jump through a few hoops to get the key transferred to you. After shipping, it's still 4.50 per copy.
I am on my second A8N-SLI board. The one was a retail board that I accidently killed. The second was a refurb from NewEgg. Neither one of them have given me any problems. 9 times out of 10 problems with this board turn out to be a PSU that is not good enough for an SLI system.
This is a great...
