best home router for syn flood attacks

What is the best home router to correctly protect against syn flood attacks...netgear fvs-318 seems to just block the spoofed IP, thereby blocking legitimate traffic from the server with the spoofed ip address.

government bans images of return of fallen soldiers, but 350+ imags were obtained via FOIA.

Not really their fault, the only way to tell was the presence of the Deputy Administrator of NASA. Not really a recognizable figure. Other than that, no other indicators differentiating the pics. The hearse perhaps, but not necessarily.

government bans images of return of fallen soldiers, but 350+ imags were obtained via FOIA.

Turns out some of the images were from the return of the Astronauts of the Space Shuttle Columbia to Dover AFB. The Air Force included those images in the FOIA release. A correction was posted: Correction to Images produced by US Air Force

government bans images of return of fallen soldiers, but 350+ imags were obtained via FOIA.

People will question it whether or not the pics are shown. The military is very aware of the effects these types of pics can cause. They even have a term for it, "the dover affect" if I'm not mistaken.

government bans images of return of fallen soldiers, but 350+ imags were obtained via FOIA.

Sad but true. I'm pretty sure that most of the families wanted the photos to be seen, haven't heard of any coming out and saying that they felt it was offensive.

CAR INSURANCE UP TO 40% LESS THAN THE AMEX DEAL!!!

I'm in Southern California, and Mercury is the best period ... they were the first to pay the mandated rebates a while back without protesting too. Other companies like 20th/21st century (one of the worst) sued the California Department of Insurance to keep from paying. Right now, I'm trying...

256k L2 full speed vs. 512k 1/2 speed for web server

Thanks Rellik, I've read both of them, but had forgotten about the first. I'll re-read it to see if it discusses the issue of cache latency vs. cache size for web servers.

256k L2 full speed vs. 512k 1/2 speed for web server

That was my feeling as well, but for web servers, I had heard that the benefits of a larger L2 cache outweighed the benefits of decreased latency.

    The best Cell Phone?

I've been really happy with my Motorola Timeport P8167 and Sprint service in San Diego. I like to go down to Mexico a lot, and I get Sprint service about 10 miles into Mexico, then roam on the PCS and analog networks further south. Battery life is great, almost at good as my Nokia 6190. The...

256k L2 full speed vs. 512k 1/2 speed for web server

I have a question that I would like to receive input on. I run a web server, NT 4, IIS 4, with multiple sites. Most of the sites are static html, but some use ASPs, cgi, and access databases. On average there are 100 concurrent connections, with an average of 8,000 unique user sessions...
