I need to replace the hard drive in an older laptop (about 3 years old). I have the old hard drive's part number- Toshiba HDD2194.
Interface: ATA-2,3,4,5,6 interface (from Toshiba PDF file)
2.5"
I'm wondering if this drive from Newegg is compatible...
I'm a little confused with the various AGP specs and voltage. Could someone give me a rundown of the cheapest video cards that can be used with an nforce2 motherboard? I'm looking for really cheap and fanless. Performance does not matter at all, just needs to output a signal to an old CRT...
I hate to bump this thread, but I'm about to RMA my 8RDA+ and I can't seem to fit the serial in the field they provide. Its only 12 characters long, and I get a javascript popup telling me that I need to enter more characters on the RMA form. Thanks in advance
edit: it worked fine, forgot to...
The great thing about refurb video cards is that you can RMA to the manufacturer if there is anything wrong and they'll send you a new one. At least this has been the case with BFG for me.
Could you guys recommend me a really good 92 mm case fan? Looking for something that is quiet and pushes a good amount of air. Looking for the most airflow for a fan thats about 25-32 dB. Thanks
I thought it was great. Slow paced unlike the originals but it would have been a bit dull if it was just like Doom 1/2. The expansion is a completely different game, its fast paced like Painkiller
I have nearly an identicale processor. Its a mobile 2400+ at 2.5 GHz. Its plenty fast for me and I didn't think it would be worth the hassle to try and sell the cpu/mobo and get an A64 setup.
Boot up time will be increased as will any load times. With my 74 gb Windows is so much more snappier and responsive. Keep in mind the 36 gb is still using old technology and is no where near as fast as the 74.
At the very least I would consider a normal 6600. The GT is obviously the best bang for the buck though. And also recommending you downgrade to socket 754, there aren't too many negatives with 754 right now.
