Actually, the referee's calls does not define reality within the context of the game. The set of rules that has been predefined and that both sides agree to is what defines the 'reality'. The referee's job is to make sure both sides abide by those rules. Obviously when the referee makes a...
I love how all the Muslim and/or terrorist apologists choose to ignore the fact that Hezbollah captured the Israeli soldiers so they can hold them for ransom. Where is the outrage now? This was an unprovoked, deliberate act of war. But you guys don't want to call it war because Hezbollah does...
heres a suggestion noone has mentioned: get a gun that you can shoot.
Buying a gun that doesn't fit you isn't going to do you any good. My suggestion is go to the range and rent different guns and see which one you like or fits you best.
thanks guys! Really I'd rather not cut out the side for the cooler, it was the biggest PITA. The exposed blower should be ok since its one big of aluminum underneath, so any dust thats sucked in is immediately blown out. (none of the video card is exposed.
I changed my front LEDs from red...
the chrome trimming was a really good idea, but it was the biggest pain in the butt to install. I had to increase the hole for the trimming, and I ended up cutting the rails off on the shell. Even right now the hole is still slightly too small.
Whats wrong with the fan grills? :)
Here is my first attempt at a case mod. A little history:
I have a Soltek SFF computer case running:
3200 Barton XP
1GB ram
AIW 9800 pro
160GB SATA drive
2 dvd drives
I was playing CS one night, and out of the blue my computer reset. It was pretty clear to me...
LOL! What flame war vic? You only see it as a flame war because I logically refuted your argument, then you rebutted with something on the level of "u're stupid!"
Its not "selective editing" when I address every single point you made in your previous post. Selective
There is no...
Like I said before, the law of supply and demand does not apply to oil/gas like it does to almost every other product. If gas is too high, can everybody stop using it? no they can't.
Yes I do. The low federal interest rates first increased the demand, then demand for profit in the real...
Vic, it is your argument that is flawed, not mine. You are the one taking a figure of speech out of context. Also, I am trying to have a discussion with you yet you talk very condescendingly towards me and the other posters.
I'd like to point out that the economics of oil is unlike any...
yes I apoligize I did mean gas prices. Since gas comes from oil I got them mixed up. It still does not refute my argument. My point is that the govt can not simply raise the interest rates on the oil/gas market like they can on real estate to curb the inflation. I guess you are saying that...
Are you insinuating that the oil prices is actually an artificially inflated bubble that will burst and bring the oil prices plummeting down to the point where it is cheaper than water? No, I didnt think so. What's a more likely situation is that the oil prices will continually and steadily go...
it's extremely depressing when you hear record profits from oil companies.... where does all this profit come from? its not like the consumer demand for oil all of a sudden shot through the roof. This government sponsored price gouging is ridiculous.
I agree with what you're saying, people should and in most states do have the right to sell what they own (ticket wise). However, I suppose there are very few things that fall in the ticket category. What else could you purchase for $50 and sell for $1000-2000 without doing any work? And...
Selling tickets on Ebay is not illegal unless it is restricted by state law. Private parties can and do re-sell tickets all the time on ebay. People use ebay to buy tickets and CDs because there is documented proof that the transaction took place, so that is somewhat of a safeguard for them...
well since no one else has brought this up, but the reason for licensed ticket brokers (compared to joe schmoe scalpers) are for two main reasons:
1. guaranteed that they are not fake.
2. tax implications. Profit generated from joe schmoe scalping tickets is undocumented and therefore the...
does anybody else feel that it's morally wrong for universal studios to make a profit off of a movie/documentary like this? I feel like nowadays anytime there is a some sort of disaster you can bet there will be a hollywood movie on it for the sole purpose of making money off of it. No...
