Ok last question, I actually have a old video card I can pull out of my other computer, but will it matter if one is an nvidia and the other is radeon?
So if I spend the extra 50 or so dollars for one with a display port, and one without the display port I should be golden? I only game on 1 monitor at a time (max windowed) and have the other monitor up with whatever
Been looking to upgrade my 2 monitors for a while now (currently have 2 Dell 2005FPWs, yes I know VERY old) to 2 Qnix QX2710's, however before I bite the bullet and make the purchase I wanted to know if my video card would be able to handle 2 of these monitors. Below are the current ports on the...
how do I configure sysprep to run through the windows setup without having to enter in the cdkey?
Heres what i've done so far:
1. run setup manager to create the sysprep.inf file
2. I have chosen both fully automate, and not to fully atuomate (doesnt seem to make a dfference)
3. went...
3 year old system still considered newish? I'm running XP Pro with 2 raptors and a 7800gtx ko. Its basically for games, and plan on picking up some of the new FPS games. ie Orange Box, Hellgate, etc.
Currently have:
1gb OCZ Plat Rev. 2
Athlon 3500+
Upgrading to:
2gb OCZ Plat Rev. 2
Athlon 54 X2 4200+
Will this be big or minor increase? Is it worth to spend $200 for this upgrade?
Lets say it is an all-in-one printer, scanner, copier, fax machine hooked up to the network via network cable.
Is it possible to scan a document and have it on your pc just using a network cable? or is it for printing only?
OK this is what i run with the in-game fear test.

This is currently what i do, my question is, is there a way to make it 1680x1050 without changing the file.
Also, im not all to familiar on what or how to do the whole benchmark thing
i would like to run it at 1680x1050. however inorder for me to do this, i have to edit a file in on of my document folders to do so.
the only choices i have in-game are 1152x852, 1024x768, and lower is there a way to change the game to higher res. from the in-game video settings?
Current setup:
AMD 64 3500+
OCZ EL Plantinum Revision 2 1gb dual channel
2 BFG 6800gt oc SLI
Nvidia a8nsli deluxe
2 Raptor drives in raid 0
Nothing over clocked, would like examples with various resolutions at max settings
Just installed my 2nd 6800gt in SLI mode. but now when i exit certain games or alt-tab my computer locks up or does not alt-tab at all.
im also having issues where my video is flickering as well when i play certain games
I have the latest nvidia drivers
woops, posted this in the wrong forum. anyway this can be moved to cases & cooling?
also, im looking to spend around $150-$175. i was thinking of maybe this one
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16817711002
The power supply i have right now doesn't have enough connecters and im in need of a new one.
What needs to be connected:
2 Video Cards in SLI
3 HDDs
1 dvd/cdrom
1 for casing display
Si i need a power supply that can connect all of those items
Do i need some type of Y-adapter (2 dvi into 1) to connect both video cards for my monitor. or do i only need to use the SLI bridge connector and connect my monitor into 1 video card?
ok i did this. everythign was fine, i went right into windows after the install. but after i installed all the drivers, i rebooted and it stated disk boot failure. insert systems disk and press enter
i have no floppy or cd in the drives. and the bios does not detect the 2 raptor drives
Ok, i just picked up the Asus SLI board and i have 3 drives:
2 WD Raptor drives
1 IDE drive
i would like to set up the 2 raptor drives as a raid 0 install and OS on it; then have the IDE drive as a spare storage drive. can someone help me with this? i dont have to much expierence...
