loud is o.k.
i'm gonna be running an amd mobile (not sure if it is gonna be a 2400, 2500, or 2600 yet) at a reasonable overclock so i am hoping this air cooled setup will be enough to keep the temps down.
right now i have an amd xp 2600 thoroughbred (266 FSB) that runs stock at 2128 Mhz...
i decided to try an air cooling setup. here's what i got:
1 item(s) of Vantec Tornado 92mm - $16.99
1 item(s) of Arctic Silver 5 - 3.5 grams - $7.99
1 item(s) of ThermalRight SI-97 - $34.99
1 item(s) of Vantec NXP-205 Fan Controller - Silver - $22.99
Subtotal: $82.96
bought from...
KINGWIN Arctic Liquid Cooler System
$100.49

The price isn't a concern for me. I just want to know if you think that it is an effective CPU cooler.
Thanks!!
what motherboard should i get to achieve optimal overclockage?
what is the best RAM (is it really that important to get 2-2-2-5?)
how would you cool it? air? water?
thanks!!!
