I have to send a bunch of files via xmodem to a device. Is there a way to automate this? I initially was hoping Matlab would have something built in to make this easy but it appears that the support just isn't there. Does anyone have any suggestions? TIA.
Has anyone ever had a random screen name called "coworker" show up on their gmail chat? The username has no e-mail associated with it, no picture, and you can't chat with the username. Maybe I'm losing it...
So I got WPA-PSK working on the laptop and I changed the security on my router to WPA-PSK and that seems to work fine. I still don't know why I couldn't change the WEP key before but that's a moot point now. Thank you all for the help.
I just tried a copy/paste on the ASCII string and still nothing (when I tried using the HEX version earlier I also used copy/paste). I was still able to get the connection working again when I switched back to the old key.
Yeah - currently my laptop only supports WEP. This still doesn't explain why I can't change the key though. I've been very careful with my typing and other keys still won't work. The fact that I can successfully type in the old password again and again tells me my typing is fine. I even...
I changed the WEP key via my PC and was very careful about typing in the key. I also had to type in the old key to get the laptop working again when I switched back so I think I'm typing everything alright. Are there key limitations (can't use all ASCII characters, symbols, etc.)?
My other...
I changed the WEP key on my router and I changed the connection profile in windows XP on my laptop to match the new WEP key. I get stuck in "acquiring network address" for a while and then I get the infamous "limited or no connectivity" message. I know the modem and router are working fine...
This is a nice looking ride. Any idea what the fuel consuption is like? The price seems a little higher than I'd like though (around 3 grand new)...
EDIT1: Does $2400 for a used 2006 with 1300 miles seems fair? That seems really pricey to me compared to 600 dollars more for a brand new...
A good suggestion but I'd definitely have to be on a road that's 35-40mph for some length of time. Granted these roads are all single lane roads in NH - we aren't talking about driving around NYC here or anything.
I def won't be able to do 40mph on my bicycle and a bicycle is less visable so I can't see how that's a better suggestion. Walking is an option if I feel like burning 2 hours of my day. I can easily run that far as well but then we are talking about having to take a shower when I get to work...
I'm switching jobs in a few weeks and my commute will be around 3.5 miles. Highest speed limit I'll have to deal with is 40mph. I'm thinking of looking into the honda ruckus which is 49cc. Would this be reasonably safe to commute with or would someone run my ass over as I struggle to get...
I'll be getting a new desk soon and it's going on a wall where the coax cable comes out of the wall. I'd like to put the desk as close as possible to this wall so a L shaped connector would really help out with clearance. I have not yet been able to find such a connector on any cables. Do...
If the plane exhibited no thrust (ie - the prop wasn't even moving) the plane would very nearly stay in place on moving treadmill. The wheels spinning on the treadmill exhibit almost no force on the plane that would lead to forward/backward motion.
The myth is poorly worded - I can agree...
I recently moved and the other day I went to watch a DVD for the first time since hooking the DVD player up to the TV. I'm using the same DVD player, the same cable, and the same TV I was using at my old place. For whatever reason there is no color. It's all in black and white. I checked the...
A family member ordered this pc and they'll want to back up some files from their old PC which I'm guessing has a HD with some form of ata (whatever was around in 97-98). Does anyone have this system or know if there are any of the old (non-serial) ata ports on the mobo so I can plug the old HD...
I thought he was suggesting "who is methodman" as a song that I just happened to not know. Upon further investigation it seems that was actually a question.
bingo...
so where is the horn sample from?
wikipedia lists these sources:
Release Yo Delf
"I Will Survive" by Gloria Gaynor
"The Jam" by Graham Central Station
"Treasure of San Miguel" by Herb Alpert
"Vicious" by Black Mamba
It's not I will survive - I don't know the other...
I'm guessing from around mid 90s - seems really likely it's methodman. Has a loop that is mostly horns. The loop sounds similar to something from Rocky but I know it's not. I've tried to figure it out but I'm getting no where - I'll let the power of the OT take care of this for me...
Kind of a middle eastern/indian trance/techno sort of deal. Main loop is (I believe) a sitar and the beat and other sounds are pretty much all electronic I think.
I remember it being the background music for a video I saw on youtube of a skateboarder who I think was Rodney Mullen. The video...
I have one of those silly A8N motherboards where the northbridge fan dies. In the process of trying to get the fan off of the motherboard I scraped the backside of the board near one of the plastic pegs. Where I scraped the lines turned copper colored. I plugged everything in and breifly...
