I am really shocked at how clueless many of the people here at Anadtechs is. There are so many who have no idea of the purpose and potential of hardware accelerated physics. All this complaining based on one game that doesn't even use the card to it's fullest. This card will change the way we...
GRAW for the PC is NOT a port of the XBox 360 verison and nothing has been scaled back. If anything there has been quite a few thing added to the PC version that is not in the XBox 360 version.
Here are some quick facts for the cluesless among you.
- PhysX Physics Processing Unit (PhysX Accelerator) was officially announced March 8th, 2005
- Dedicated chip designed to offload physics calculations from the CPU/GPU to the PPU
- Aimed for video/computer games and other applications...
Another without a clue.

Boy thats a hell of a leap you just took there. Where do you get the idea that the lack of AA has anything at all to do with physics? Perhaps the game uses HDR and you can't do HDR + AA. Now dosn't that make more since?
I've said it before and it's worth saying again. Everyone of the misinformed and even the ones who are just plain ignorant, will either have one of these cards or will be seriously wanting one by this time next year. If not sooner.
No concrete information?? Well you simply aren't looking if you think that. Here, this should be enough concrete info for you and all the other doubters in this thread.
Yeah, I'm really surprised at all these so called enthusiests myself. Oh well, this time next year they will all have one.
btw, isn't this in the wrong forum??
Nope, makes no sense at all. Why have a seperate audio card. Why not intergrate audio on the video card and call it a "gaming card". Even better put the GPU, PPU and APU(audio processor unit?? lol) on one card and call that a "gaming card".
Now what, now that you mention it I do seem to remember reading somewhere that DCR TV Tuner cards would only be availible in approved PC's. Dang that sucks. I really hope that dosn't turn out to be true.
Since Digital cable ready sets were first annouced I've been waiting for tv tuner card that had a cable card slot. Anyone aware of any being out yet or if any are in the works?
Yeah, ATI wins more. Just barely:

FEAR SS ON: NV WIN(6fps)

The 7800GS is still the better and cheaper card. But...
Oh, now you're just in denial. Even in Toms review the 7800GS comes out on top. They each win 2 and there is a tie. But in in intresting turn of events when soft shadows are turned on in FEAR the 7800GS comes out on top. So, I'll count that as another win. And the cards are running form...
No, I was refering to your brain deadness. According to Firingsquads review:
Also, a test summary since you seem to think we'll fall for your crap:
HL2: Nv - 57.5 ATI - 59.6 Win for ATI
HL2 LC: - NV - 36.1 ATI - 32.1 Win for NV
Bf2: NV - 48.7 ATI - 41.2 Win for NV
Quake4: NV -...
