I'm looking for the HELVETICA font file. If I open Word, it is available as a font on my PC.
If I browse to C:\Windows\fonts I have a ton of fonts in that folder, but I do not see Helvetica.
I don't believe I installed anything which would make this font available.
On another girl's...
I've been asked if it was possible to see / monitor if 2 people are exchanging emails back and forth on our comany network. Is there any way to remotely monitor this?
Windows 2000 Server running Exchange 2000.
Thanks!
Right now I've seen welfare applications available in any language. Do you think that should be allowed? Just curious...... I know I don't think so....
Technology is so advanced these days........ why can't someone come up with a program to run XBOX or PS2 games on the PC. I know the specs of a PC sometimes blow away those console systems, so why not....... PCs have DVD players, arent XBOX and PS2 games just DVDs?

When I first started here, I was told we worked 8:00am-4:30pm, Monday - Friday.
We have stores that are open till 9pm, so naturally I am on call if something goes wrong for them, every other week.
Lately we aquired a call center that runs 24/7...
First off, sorry if this is a repost to all of you who LOVE to claim posts are for some reason.
I just noticed that CNN.com no longer has the CNN Newspass? All of their video you used to have to subscribe to get is now free online? Am I seeing this correctly?
Thanks!
I'm about to set up an FTP server here at work for employees to be able to use from outside the company.
What software (other than the built in IIS FTP capabilities) has anyone used.
I've been looking into Serv-U. I've used that before, very easy to set up.
Opinions?
So, if you are like me, and work in the IT field....... here is a good techy definition to tell a customer if there is no real reason other than they are complete morons......
Call it an "ID-10-T" error (Eye Dee Ten Tea)
Basically an idiot error spelled out a lil different ;) haha

I've been with State Farm for about 8 years now. Recently we cancelled our car insurance with them and switched over to Geico, about 8 months ago.
I was paying $600/year for motorcycle insurance. NOW, that I cancelled my cars with them, they jacked up my bike insurance to $1765/year! WHAT...

I have a nice little ranch, 1500SF. Just blew in about 16" of insulation into the attic.
I live in Upstate NY, keep the thermostat at 70 degrees most of the time.
Last months heat & electric = $189.00
Not too bad.......
What does everyone else pay?
Turkey / Bacon with Lettuce, Tomatto, Cheddar, Mayonaise & Ranch on a sun dried tomattor wrap.
To top it off, a warm pretzel with a side of cheese :)
Mmmmm

I just installed WinXP MCE 2005 last night and got it working with my Haupauge PVR250MCE tv card.
Wow, being able to watch / record TV on my PC has never been easier. Just needed to download the TV guide, then with a click of the mouse, the program was scheduled to record :)
Are there are...
I got ahold of Windows Media Center Edition 2005. I also just bought a Haupauge PVR250MCE card.
Anyone out there currently using Windows Media Center 2005? How do you like it? Any quirks? Do all XP Pro programs run with MCE2005?
Thanks!
Sure, I'm a computer geek. I'll admit it.
Back in the day I used to delete certain "necessary" windows files on the PCs at Sams club.
I was such an a-hole......... memories.......
Sure I understand the whole concept behind the movie........ Humans are batteries plugged in to power the "machines".
My question is, if humans are just batteries to power the machines, after a while the humans would die off. How do they reproduce? No human sex = no babies = no more...
I heard that the FCC is trying to pass a bill to monitor cable television and Sirius /XM satelite radio.
Why can't the government leave our freedom alone?
I have a Celeron D 2.8GHZ processor. I have heard stories about being able to overclock the 1.6Ghz processor, what about mine?
Any success stories, what should I expect to reach?
I know overclocking is not typically "recomended" but I'm just looking to tinker :) hehehe
We have several Gateway GP6-450 machines in my office here. On certain websites, these machines just lock up. The only way to get out of the lockup is to reboot the system. We've tried increasing the mouse buffer, which helps "sometimes". I find this to be a very strange problem. We might have...

Ok, can anyone tell me how to step by step configure OSPF on 2 cisco 2500 series routers?
They are connected thru the serial ports. They have the ability to connect to them thru the Ethernet terminals.
I'm stumped. I'm looked at every paper on the net from Cisco, and to no avail. I can...
