    Samsung 840 Pro bricked?

Didn’t work. It wants me to insert the disk with the drivers for the device on it, but there is not one. I don’t know which files to burn on a CD to give it what it wants. Interestingly, it shows the OS Drive C: and a separate Boot Drive X: even though the E: drive is not installed...

    Samsung 840 Pro bricked?

Don’t have enough experience to have considered this, but it correlates with the symptoms. System rebooted numerous times during installs, but stopped when the E: drive was removed. One thing also is that I was unable to choose the E: drive for backup. I just put the 840 back in as an...

    Samsung 840 Pro bricked?

So I replaced my older Intel SSD with a new Samsung 840 Pro (128 GB) yesterday. I did a fresh install and things went fine, and it ran stable. I left it running overnight and it ran fine this morning. I shut it down this afternoon to install a new HDD in place of the existing photo/back up...

Two wireless mice in the same room?

I am building a new desktop pc for my fiance which will be at a desk right next to mine. I'd like to use a wireless mouse the same as mine. I'm thinking disaster as they both will be 'talking' to both pc's. Is this doable? What about different brands, will that work?

    New Seasonic X650

I received mine yesterday also and noticed the same. The MB cable is like before and is all black, which is nice. The others are molded ribbon cables.

    Lian Li PC-7FN

I went all the way with the B10 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...226&Tpk=pc-b10 which is essentially the same inside, but is ridiculously expensive. I am very happy with it, I like the door to help with the quiet. I removed the drive cage, put the SSD on the shelf above the top fan...

What do you think of the AsRock Extreme 4 P67 board ?

I have the blue CL8 RAM and it works fine. The board auto sets the timings at 9 so you have to change them manually to 8.

Seriously considering not returning my P67 board for exchange

Yeah, those were additional considerations I didn't mention. I have the system builder's Win 7 and resale would be diminished.

Seriously considering not returning my P67 board for exchange

My ASRock P67 Extreme4 has performed flawlessly for 7 weeks. Due to the extra Marvell controller I can handle my optical, SSD and HDD with no problem and do not expect to add any more SATA devices over the life of this build. If I exchange it I'll get an extra 14 months of warranty. I'm not sure...
