Anyone know if this motherboard will support Win10?
the Asrock documentation lists:
- Microsoft® Windows® 8.1 32-bit / 8.1 64-bit / 8 32-bit / 8 64-bit / 7 32-bit / 7 64-bit / Vista™ 32-bit / Vista™ 64-bit / XP 32-bit / XP 64-bit
the Z77 was a mainstream deploy for a few years, I was hoping...
Too bad you had a bad experience. I trialed many different formats including original CD's, and high bitrate files.
I demo'd many high quality albums from Blue Note Jazz series, exquisitely recorded, to gold series CD releases like Pink Floyd's Wish You Were Here.
The earbuds were full...
What does that mean in real-world use?
How often would a person write 10+ gig files several times a day, and if so, would this drive still perform well after 2 to 4 years of use? Maybe still going strong after 8 yrs? 10 yrs?
I see posts about the drives longevity but if it's...
I wanna tidy up the inside of a case by coloring all the cables black.
I don't have the time to sleeve everything.
Just looking for a cheap and fast way to coat all the cables to eliminate the crazy color look.
Any sprays that anyone's used with any success?
So this USB 3.0 header for the front panel, provided with the Asrock Extreme6 Z77 with the connectors off the MB won't have the same transfer speeds as the rear USB 3.0 ports?
I'd prefer the 3.0 ports on top to be able to set an external drive on top of the case.
If it's easily do-able, I'll take the time, if not just go with it as is.
Maybe........... route two of the rear 3.0 ports up top?
A little wire, a little solder, a little rum and BAM!

Looking at getting the COOLER MASTER HAF 912 Killer price at $40.
ASRock Z77 Extreme6 to be housed in this.
Anyone had any luck with changing out the usb 2.0 front with USB 3.0?
Just had my Antec 620C rebate denied. Followed all the instructions. Will re-submit and go through their painful appeal process.
Valuable info to anyone considering this Hot Deal.
Factor in the full price. Then decide if this works for you.
I handled the Sony Nex 5n. Another great camera.
I, and others, have noted it's somewhat difficult to handle. Just my personal preference. Saw the shots my friend took with it, and was blown away. All these new breeds micro 4/3 are way beyond point and shoots.
I would highly advise to...
Just wanted to point out that the smaller, folding lens is preferrable to the larger fixed length. May be worth buying this awesome deal, selling the kit lens and buying the smaller folding lens.
People that are shuttergeeks usually have several cameras for different uses and environments...
GREAT camera. Comes with the 14-42 non-folding lens. Kinda large for a pocketable camera.
But this is the lens you really want for small portability and stunning pictures.
(Lens model H-PS14042)
Purpose of the new micro 4/3 systems is small bodies with small lenses taking great...
Sequential Read Speed Up to 530MB/s
Sequential Write Speed Up to 240MB/s
Random Read Speed Up to 95K IOPS
Random Write Speed Up to 44K IOPS

Still a good deal, but for comparisons:
SanDisk Ultra Plus 256GB 530MB/s 445 MB/s SATA 6 Gbits/s
SanDisk Extreme 240GB 550MB/s 520MB/s SATA 6 Gbits/s
Should bought the Extreme 240 at $169 awhile back.
OK couldn't stand it. In for 4 sticks.
I shoulda bought at $15.
Hopefully the magic continues.
Great reference for the timings. that should help greatly. Thanks
True.
Also agree with some being killed by OC attempts. I'm sure the reviewer wouldn't fess up to that.
Concerning is the review (2nd or 3rd page in) where he couldn't get MSI to return calls for the second RMA.
"I have tried nearly everyday to contact the person mentioned in MSI's...
that was just on the first page.
