    Opera 11.10 Released

Looks like I spoke too soon. The wheel scrolling is better but still a bit bugged. First indent seems small. Second one seems very large. Third and subsequent ones seem 'normal' or 'just right'.

    Opera 11.10 Released

This release seems to have fixed the problems I've had with the scroll wheel behavior. For years the scroll wheel has not behaved like in every other application and it was a constant source of frustration. But it works way better now. Before the first indent of the scroll wheel from the top of...

    Motherboard ID needed

I am the coworker. Turns out it was the PSU, not the mobo. (At least not yet. Two leaky and buldging caps say failure is likely soon.) I can now look toward replacing the whole blasted thing at my convenience. Thanks to all for the help.

Leather Microsoft Wireless Intellimouse Explorer 2.0 $21 shipped

I picked one of these up for the video playback computer and I am very impressed. None of the stiff wheel issues mentioned before. It replaced a Logitech wireless that was not very impressive. The leather is a soft plastic like in cars and its not weird like I expected.

    Best RPG game?

Take note that there is a new game called Lionheart that uses the FO/FO2 rpg system. Should be about as entertaining as the FOs were. Arcanuum is not as good as FO. The battle system is unbalanced. The pretext of the game is very attractive but the game is not as balanced, fun, or funny. Wow...

    Unofficial Barton 2500/2800/3000/3200 thread

I was hoping it would be automatic but it was not for me. It boots at 200x11 very happily and does the Sandra thing fine but fails on Prime95. It isnt stable til i bring it down to 9x200 at any voltage (up to 1.80, the max on the MSI k7n2 delta) I don't think its the memory as that i can run out...

PCI Clock speed on MSI K7N2 Delta

Thanks for the reply NesuD Im actually suspicious its the cpu but there are of course many other factors. Like the Ti4200 i use and the leaky capacitors on it. Arg! As for the ram, I did try it with non-agressive timings. But didn't help. Im using Corsair XMS 3200, one chip is newer and cas 2...

PCI Clock speed on MSI K7N2 Delta

Hello So I can't hit 200fsb with this 2500+ barton. 190 seems ok but I am concerned about how fast the PCI bus is running. I want to keep it at 33mhz. Does this board keep it at that regardless of the FSB? I can't find any software that tells me what the current PCI clock is either. Would...

    Setting up FTP capability

Hi Read this: http://docs.astaro.org/older_versions/ASL-V2.0/docs_v2/ftp-howto.txt. It is specific to another product but lays out the concept and general instructions. If your router does something I think is called stateful inspection, then its a lot easier but this will work around the...
