Silly mistake I made in building my home server. Want to get everyones opinions on this, because I think I've been heading in the wrong direction.
I went ahead and bought 3 x 146GB 15k SAS Drives for a Dell PE2950 Gen II running 2 x Xeon E5345's and 16GB's of RAM.
I have 2 additional 1TB...
It must be that my DIR655 simply can't do it, or i'm just an idiot. I have yet to be able to set up a wireless repeater....

From what I can tell, the X700 looks faster with more processing units inside it.
Opinions? I cant find any reviews comparing them directly, or even remotely.
I currently have the choice of a Razer Copperhead mouse, or a Logitech MX 518 mouse, either one for $25 (used off of a message board).
For some reason I'm leaning towards the razer, but everybody is telling me the MX518 is the best mouse to get.

Heres what happens. I'll load call of duty, and go search for servers. works great, finds who knows how many servers.
go into a server, and play for a little. i'll decide to change servers a little later.

whats the deal with this lock i've read about, and the fact that you can get around it by floating the PCI express bus?
does the lock kick in after you reach a 10% overclock of the current chip, or 10% higher than an 800mhz FSB overclock?

I have not tested it yet, BUT...
I've heard from a few people that 680i SLI boards arent stable with 4 sticks of RAM in them. I currently have 4 x 1GB Crucial Ballistix 1066 RAM. I popped 2 in already, the other 2 came back from RMA.
I'd like to sell the sticks, but nobody wants to buy...
