    HD6950 2GB vs. GTX 570

    I have pretty much the same system but I have the Asrock P68 Extreme4 Gen3 with 16GB ram and the 6970. I run BF3 on Ultra and am definitely getting over 40fps. Have never tested but it is definitely above the 40.
