for #1, is it a brand new hd? if so did u partition/format it, could be why you dont see it. Right click on my computer and select manage, then go to disk management to partition.
for #2, do u have any mac address restrictions configured on router?
dunno if you're still need help on this but you can try the files in the software section.

theres a command reference pdf in the file list as well.
I don't have experience with your 3com but judging...
I'd guess video card too, I had the same msi 8800gts card that developed crash issues and was able to rma for full refund. I replaced it with a new video card, and the pc has been fine since.
also you previously oven baked your card as well. I thought oven baking generally is a temporary fix...
1. What YOUR PC will be used for. That means what types of tasks you'll be performing.
mostly gaming (WOW, any future blizz games, occasional fps)
as a tivo as well.
2. What YOUR budget is. A price range is acceptable as long as it's not more than a 20% spread
$1000-$1100
3. What...
might be a noob question and possibly I did something stupid.
I bought a new ps since my old one died, but I noticed it has a 24pin connector for the motherboard. I'm able to remove part of it 4pins to make it into a 20pin connector which fits into the motherboard. the pc turns on and works...
lol! I had that same problem with a user. She was complaining 'google.com' was giving her popups/viruses. she was using the address www.goggle.com instead of www.google.com
i've fixed alot of computers and my best guess is its the motherboard or possibly cpu. usually if there is power but no logo on screen and no beeping, its the motherboard in most of the cases i've seen. it would beep if there is something wrong with memory or video card.
my 9800pro got 2 bad capacitors. it leaked fluid onto the tv card making that stop working too :(
I havent been looking at video card technology for awhile
what budget ATI card now is faster then the 9800pro?
I was wondering if anyone has a clue what would cause this to happen.
While playing World of warcraft, after logging in and playing awhile ~15min, the game will freeze up no response to keyboard/mouse input, the screen is frozen as well, the sound is repeating.
then after 10+sec it will...
well you can have that code redirect to another page afterward.
or include the code in another webpage if it recieved any arguments then itll store the information. so you have the form submit to that webpage instead of the blank.
yeah scrolling down the ah items when theres a long list, the client freezes up for a few secs. i think its downloading the item list or something.
but then it works just fine after that.
yeah that would probably be the problem. I was trying to install winxp on an old p3 and it always get read errors at a certain point and just would fail to install.
I installed win98 successfully but it was always getting random windows application errors. Like Iexplore.exe caused some...
Hi,
on my friends pc, after cleaning up some adware off it using adaware/spybot
it now gets a protocol.cocreateinstance error when you start IE.
IE however is able to browse fine etc,
anyone know how to get rid of this error?
i think u need that hd running as the booting os in order for adaware to catch anything in the local registry. try putting it back and booting into safe mode and run those scans
I've got the Linksys WRT54G and haven't had any problems with it through wired or wireless. I play warcraft3 / FF11 fine over the net with no dropping at all.
also got the Netgear WGR614 working as an access point at another end of a house wired to the WRT54G.
works just great too.
you can hit ctrl-alt-del
to get to the taskmanager.
see what processes are running and see whats taking up the cpu time.
how do u know u have the virus? does norton tell you which file is infected? thats probably what file u need to delete.
in regedit. press ctrl-f4 and type in that file name...
well i clean it off manually.
the systems i've seen it infect have this process/file running
called explored.exe (yours might be different, theres different variants of this thing)
boot into safe mode then
i just run regedit and find all instances of that and delete those keys.
then search hard...
i've had that same problem before when running adaware to remove spyware.
i think some spyware mess up IE dns search values to redirect to their dll file to track where you're going and then it redirects u to the address u typed in. so when u ran adaware it quaratined/removed that dll.
anyways...
I have an old pc Abit BH6 + P3 500E. 3 hds (40gig master, 13gig slave, 1.2gig slave) 1 cdrw (master). It used to boot really fast but now for some reason it takes a looooonnnggg time verifying the DMI pool data...
any clue as to why it takes so long to verify? it used to not do this before.
you could eliminate duplicates before hand by not entering it into the array in the first place if it already exists in there.
anyways you can have a 2nd array to hold the new data with no duplicates.
take the first element in 1st array and enter it into the 2nd.
take the 2nd element in 1st...

hey that scam looks like another talent scout one I applied to awhile back just for the heck of it (in LA tho). There was this lame test u had to take online to choose 'your models' but no matter how u answered you were always what they were looking for. Later got an email for an interview but...
I'm not sure whats the best brand but I'm currently using the Linksys Wireless-G 4port router as an access point for my network. I think my house has alot of interference (maybe the telephone poles in the backyard) or something since my signal strength isnt too great through just a kitchen and...
