Upgrade this PC for kid gaming?

If it's no hassle, then yes, I would love to know how it does on your CPU, and how it compares to the demand class of Jurassic World/Marvel Super Heroes, as far as playability @720p. Looks like your CPU is rated on par with his. Don't they just make them less demanding for the 360? They also...

Upgrade this PC for kid gaming?

What latest Lego games have you tried? They seem to keep raising the bar. Lego Star Wars: The Video Game ran on the GameCube, The Force Awakens, however, seems quite demanding. Could very well be …or maybe they will too go the PC path, or he may start playing strategy games. One way we've...

Upgrade this PC for kid gaming?

Thanks for the advice. I have seen it previously, but the online reviews did not favor it. I now dug more into it, and while *I* really like the idea, minus the proprietary receiver, I am worried about his ability to configure it and play with his friends. Upgrade this PC for kid gaming?

So, I thought I would instead upgrade his PC with a video...

Trying to speed up my mother's old laptop

I would do a clean install of windows 10 (or any other OS). Online keys are not expensive. This should fix her laptop. I did the same to more than one practically dead PCs that took ages to load. Vista is evil.

    Old PSU with new motherboard?

I have an old 400W PSU that I wish to use with new CPU&motherboard for a while. The PSU only comes with 20pin & 4pin 12V motherboard connectors (SATA and PCIe are not a problem). 12V output is rated 18A (216W). I need a very basic system with no discrete graphics or multiple hard-drives, and...
