So I joined this forum back in 2011 and with the very much appreciated help of you fellow forum members I successfully built myself a custom gaming PC. I ended up being very happy with my system. It has treated me very well over the last 3.5 years and still is but with the upcoming new games...

Well I found out today that the ASUS P8P67 MoBo isn't available to order for my build so my builder found me a ASUS P8Z68 -V LE.
Will this MoBo be a better option? It was only $10 extra.
Now my build consists of:
MoBo: ASUS P8PZ68-V LE
Case: Cooler Master Storm Enforcer

Hello,
I am rather new here and had a thread posted under "General Hardware" called "Finally ordered - how does it stack up". It has now been locked. I did have a few people who were sorta sulking about my choices but I in now way got hostile. After all I asked for opinions and I want answers...
Is using a wireless card just as stable for gaming as using a wired connection?
I am upgrading to Fiber optical internet now that it is available on my street and I wondered if I should use the old wireless card from my old PC or if I should use a wired connection for gaming.
Whats better for gaming?
A small LCD HD TV or a regular monitor (suited for gaming of course).
Not looking to make this a highly technical thread but just to give an overall better option between the two.
Here is my first build. I want to know peoples opinions. I ordered the stuff today.
MoBo = Asus P8P67 with USB 3.0 Header
CPU = i5 2500k
RAM = Kingston 8GB DDR3 1333
SSD = Intel 510 Series 120GB SATA 3
HDD = Western 1TB Caviar Black SATA-600
Optical Drive = LG DVD RW +/- Burner & Media...
I am having a local shop build this system for me. I will first say that "no" shopping at newegg.ca will not save me any money. The bill from my local shop is $1,581.82 tax included all ready to go, and with a 3 year parts and labor warranty.
The price at newegg.ca for these parts alone with...
I have it in my head that I need a 2ms monitor to really take advantage of what my new build will have to offer. I am having a hard time finding a 2ms in a decent price range. Do you guys think it would be ok to go with a 5ms monitor for gaming? I suppose it might not make a huge difference...
Well as the title says, I was wondering if this system that I am building will support multiple games. I originaly went with this build in order to play BF3 when it comes out but now thinking back of how much fun starcraft on Nintendo 64 was I just might consider buying Starcraft 2 for my new...
Hello all,
I am new to owning an actual "so called" gaming PC but not new to playing pc games.
I used to play BF2 online allot with a system that would barley support it but still had fun.
This time I want to get a PC together in preparation for BF3 and play it without any hiccups.
Now...
