Well, there's this UD5H for $135

Then there's a jump to this UD5H for $180

What would be the difference between these two? The cheaper one doesn't have any reviews at all.

Hello,
Sales are looming over the horizon and I'm planning on doing a new computer build. I admit I don't know much about motherboards so I'll just ask for advice on what to get.
The basics of what's going to go along with the motherboard are:
Intel Core i7-3770 3.4GHz
Nvidia GTX 660...
Around $150 would be good. Just like the motherboards I provided there.
Anything around $200 seems to be overkill given I'm not even going to utilize any high end utilities or even overclock it.
Any other input?
Mainly, I just want input about the Sandy/Ivy bridge issue. If getting a motherboard specifically designed for IB will be important to fully utilizing the new IB processors.
I've got more information about this future build.
Probably gonna use 8GB of RAM
i5 2500 processor...
Waiting for Ivy Bridge could be an option if it's really that necessary but since IB is backwards compatible, I don't see why I should.
I'm gonna probably switch into an IB processor with this new motherboard once IB matures a bit more after its release.
Hey,
I just need help selecting a motherboard. I'm not too knowledgeable on the technicalities.
I know Ivy Bridge is going to be compatible with current Sandy Bridge motherboards but when Ivy Bridge comes out next year are there going to be new things that only Ivy Bridge designed...

I'll research about this new video card. Thanks.
The PSU, I'll still look into a new one at some point regardless. If they pretty much have the same power consumption, then it's not too bad since this PSU is still relatively new. It powers my current system fine.
It's only seen half a year's usage, so it's still relatively new. But I've actually had this for about 1 and a half years. (I was away from my computer for a year due to college)
Can anything bad happen if I test my chances and use this PSU with the 550 Ti?
Say it's not actually 500w.. will it...
Hello,
I currently have a 500w PSU
I'm thinking about upgrading my GFX card.
These are my current specs:
Core 2 Duo E7400 2.8 GHz
4 GB RAM
9800 GT
2 (possibly 3) Hard Drives
1 DVD drive
Now, I'm thinking of putting in a GTX 550 Ti

Okay, thanks.
Lastly, the Power LED.

It takes up 3 pins. In the manual it says that it should only take up 2 pins. It can't fit because the power on button is taking up space. Is there any way to circumvent this? Or will I forever...
Hello,
Sorry if it's in the wrong forum - I dunno if it goes in motherboard or computer help..?
Anyway.
It's my first time assembling a PC from scratch and I'm confused on the jumpers and headers on my motherboard.
The motherboard is an EMAXX P43...
Yeah I've done that. Switching the battery in and out.
Before hand, I actually used the laptop without the battery most of the time because it just stayed in my dorm for most of the week.
So it just ran straight from the plug.
Edit: I think it's a major hardware failure cause I just noticed it...
I have an asus u45jc, had it for several months but now it's not starting up.
Theres nothing showing up on the display
The CPU fan is still turning on and off so it seems like it's still working on something
The num lock and caps lock lights are stuck on which never really happens
It's...
Just wondering if this would harm the CPU in any sort of way.
I was installing the chip to a Dell Dimension computer which currently has a Pentium D until i figured out that the dell motherboard doesn't support 45nm because I booted it up but the monitors didn't show anything.
I'm buying my friend's computer and he has a Pentium D running at 2.8 GHz.
Is it good for gaming now or should I look into an upgrade to a Core 2 Duo?
He ran Crysis on it pretty decently among other things.
Is it possible to switch out the heatsink of the 7950GT with a fan instead and if possible where can i get a VGA cooler fan that's compatible with the 7950?
I've went on newegg but the ones I've seen so far look like they're for the newer cards which are really big.
Alternatively, what are...
Hey guys, I think my iPod Mini's HD is finally pooping out on me and I'm thinking of getting a flash drive and maybe a better battery as well.
What are some good Flash Drives and Batteries for the mini?
