Oh, okay. That's not necessarily an indication of market share, but it is representation of who maintains the lead in number of users; that's definitely Nvidia.
I was confused there for a second.
Yes....I think people are getting a tad bit too excited in regards to expecting this card to be faster than 5870. That's just me though.
I reckon it'll be around the same speed as a 470; but with better overclocking potential.
This...I don't foresee the 560 being faster/equal to a 6950, yet cheaper, since it would be only slightly slower than a 570, but a $100 cheaper. No, I expect it'll be about the same speed as 470.
Geeeeezzz.....It took me a minute to click on these topics, since folks have now bumped those old IQ topics. Anyway, I'm very excited about these cards.
Selective reading? In case you didn't notice, I have a specific assumption as to why you created this topic; the least of which being that THG is now using HQ for AMD cards. So, yeah, I was being selective.
But I don't want to derail this thread, I'll just post something that was included in...
How can I be kept in the dark, when you admit in your original post that this is "old news?" Or is learning that THG is reviewing their games in HQ, which is something I thought they did already, news worthy? I guess it depends on perspective.
Anyway, thanks for the heads up! I look forward to...
Whelp, I figured I'd see a topic like this again, particularly with the impending release of the 69xx series. LOL.

Whoops! I got confused there with my original post.......I thought you were talking about the benching results presented by the community in regards to the 6970.
Yeah, it's funny watching people defend corporations intended to take their money. I particularly enjoy watching them get ecstatic when one group fails; as if paying premium price is something to be proud of.
LOL.
Whelp, thanks two synthetic benches between the 6970 and 580, it has now been concluded that Heaven is worthless, somebody cheats, and that someone needs to work on their sales strategy.
LOL.
Lets not get too excited. Acccording to that graph, the Cayman XT (6970) is actually 6718, which makes sense considering the numbering order for previous cards.
Some intriguing findings for you folks, according to these links, that German tester is actually using a 6950. Don't know if it's accurate, but here:

Nvidia lost 141 million in the second quarter, and AMD actually made more overall money than Nvidia in the 3rd quarter. AMD's operating cost for the 3rd quarter analysis was 128 to Nvidia's 103. Operating revenue is the amount earned before taxes.
Furthermore, Nvidia's profit increase in the...
