Intel Sandy i5-2500 Build Input Please

Is there an easy way to identify the new fixed boards as most of the computer component suppliers in NZ have poor english and getting more than a yes/no answer is difficult. Yeah i'm pretty set on the i5-2500k, with a H67 board but I might just get the i5-2500 if it's gonna be too much more...

Intel Sandy i5-2500 Build Input Please

I'm more than a little confused about this INTEL bug thing. I'm getting that the SATA ports may degrade or w/e but I'm not making the leap to why I can't go ship a Sandy Bridge i5-2500 with an ASUS mobo. I mean SATA ports are on the mobo no?

Intel Sandy i5-2500 Build Input Please

Cool I read most of the article and understand a little more, just so I'm certain I will change my question. The best way to take advantage of the i5's integrated graphics (without purchasing a GPU) is with a a/ i5-2500 or b/ i5-2500k which will require a xxxxxxxlinkxxxxxxx Mobo...

Intel Sandy i5-2500 Build Input Please

So I would be using one DVI and one HDMI port? DVI>HDMI right? Oh BTW do all the H67's have intergrated graphics

Intel Sandy i5-2500 Build Input Please

That sounds like a great idea cause the build is getting a little over priced vs what I wanted to spend. Whats a good H67 that will let me add a GPU later if I need one and have enough ports for my 2x24" 1920x1200's?

Intel Sandy i5-2500 Build Input Please

Yeah pricing does blow goats especially cause the US$ is so sh** vs NZ$ atm. I did have in mind to possibly get a nicer GPU in the future would it be better to future proof and get something with a little more juice tho $63 beats $125 for sure. (GST or Goods and Services Tax is 15% here)

Intel Sandy i5-2500 Build Input Please

Nothing in particular and I'm in no way a serious gamer, Just being able to run the newer stuff with OK graphics is fine. Thats good to know, could you recommend one I was thinking about looking at case+psu options but don't really know where to start. Guess I should state very casual...
