I almost jumped on this but I noticed they have the refurbished priced higher than the new/retail box...
My guess they got the two mixed up and with their ratings didn't seem worth the risk to see which would be delivered. Great price though if you get the new/retail version as advertised...
I never received my key the first time using Yahoo, however the recover cd-key link worked just fine and I got it instantly. For anyone who already registered probably easier to recover the key than to re-register a new email.
Nice to know theres no lines and its available there, I was just commenting my experience from the download places linked on the official site. Fileplanet actually goes faster than 330k thats just my max download speed with Charter in my area which was better than either the Sierra and Bit...
Thx OP!
For those who havent received their cd-key yet, there is a forgotten key lookup on the main page. I used that and got my key email almost immediately.
Downloading it now from Fileplanet (had to wait about 45 mins in line with free servers but getting 330kb/s speeds).
From what I was able to gather from various posts about OnRebate submissions, you just need to make copies of everything and follow their directions very carefully. Like they require you to print out a mailing label and use it (they will not accept their address being handwritten on the...

Now before everybody starts commenting about bad Ultra PSU models, there were issues with First Gen Ultra X-Connects (Ultra does not make the PSU and used seperate manufacturers for the X-Connect and X-Finity models...
If waiting isnt an issue I think I would go with the ATI 650 (I was waiting on one myself but caught a clearance deal at Directron on an EVGA Single Tuner NVTV).
If you cant wait the ATI 550 and Hauppage 250/350 series are all good cards with hardware encoding so there shouldnt be any sync or...
I think this review may help answer some of your questions on performance between the two cards:

If I had to chose I would opt for the XT.
Credit due to delta901 over at FW for the following information:
-it is based off v6.0.0.299 of Kaspersky AV.
-it has all the same scanning abilities, services, processes and icon locations (logon and logoff screens in windows) as the normal Kaspersky.
-it downloads the same antivirus...
I had a bad experience with them in the past. Item showed in stock, credit card was charged but after a few days item never shipped and they finally cancelled the order. The problem was I had to report them to BBB and fight with them for a refund.
ZZF has the 6400 in stock for $256 shipped...
I dont think the memory on these can be clocked to XT speeds. Though with a good aftermarket cooler I'm pretty sure the gpu core could be clocked up (dont think stock cooler would be good enough tho).
I kind of agree with Funboy42. First post saying it was in wrong forums should be enough, the sarcasm and rude remarks are uncalled for, and OP even apologized for posting it in wrong area.
I have researched many Ultra PSU and the only ones I ever seen with a bad failure rate was the first gen x-connects which were made by a different manufacturer than the x-2 and x-finity models (ultra does not make their own).
The only issue that I have heard about these x-finitys is that...
If I recall you have to go to their website, and register an account, then you fill out an online submission, then it lets you print out a the forms (if you missed printing it out after you already done an online submission you can log in your acct anytime and print it out).
Some advice, you...
Following their directions carefully mine was approved fairly quick after it was received. I've heard of some people having hassles but there shouldnt be any issues if you make copies of everything and make sure you send in everything thats asked for.
As far as actually getting the rebate...
Like the above poster I got my Intel Freezer 7 Pro from Provantage for $16~ something plus s/h, came out to under $22 shipped. It shipped out via Fedex within 24 hrs and had it a couple days later. Installed it today on a P4 550 3.4ghz (115w version) and it is running at 29-30C idle and 38-39C...
So far mine has been inaudible, and as far as heat goes, I wouldnt say they run "cool" like some claim, but mine doesnt run hot either with it being placed in front of the intake fan (which is a low cfm Vantec stealth) it seems to run within normal temps.
It comes already jumpered for SATA 150, for SATA II it requires removing the jumper altogether but in short yes these are backward compatible (I'm using mine at SATA 150).
I use a 74gb raptor for a boot drive and upgraded a couple 80gb and a 120gb ide storage drives to these. Between testing the raptor and these I find each winning performance tests in different areas and overall performance (test like pcmark hdd suite) came close to a tie with the raptor winning...
Finally got it downloaded & installed. It updated to the latest version np. Was tough getting the download from WD to complete, but the update from EMC after it installed was quick and easy.
From the Newegg FAQ (product section):
The price of an item I purchased has dropped prior to shipment. Is it possible to get a refund of the difference?
Newegg.com does not offer any price guarantee, because industry prices change too often and too fast. If your order has not shipped, you...
Depending on where you live (shipping prices seem to vary widely) Provantage has this for $15.07 + s/h. I actually got the Intel version which is a little more ($16.36 + s/h) and it came to under $22 shipped to my area. May be worth checking out for a small savings depending on your location...
That sapphire is OOS and while technically it is a better deal the reference fans on the x1900xt are known to be extremely loud at high load. This HIS IceQ uses a quiet (at idle near silent) cooler as well as having UV reactive and leds added to it for those into looks. So if you want a quieter...
They did contact buyers who registered their warranties for the time period covered by the lawsuit. I received an email in fact for each drive that I had registered online over the past few years.
Just a note these are not the same modules as last deal, stats on these:
CL 5-5-5-12 (CAS-TRCD-TRP-TRAS)
Gold Layered XTC Heatspreader*
2.0 Volts
240 Pin DIMM
Plus no free shipping which would bring the price pretty close to last deal. It's a good deal but shouldnt be confused with...
Looks like its back in stock for any who are still interested...
Received mine today via Fedex.
Radioshack packed it pretty well and it arrived in good condition.
Looks really sweet and so far no issues (running on a PSU tester currently and seems very quiet and cool at low load - will...
This series isnt known for the problems associated with the x-connect (modular) 1st gen series. The only issue I have seen with this one is the 120mm fan failing or becoming overly loud/noisy. From what Ive heard Ultra has a pretty good RMA system and will send you out a new power supply in...
