I had sennheisers for awhile but I couldn't lie on my side without distorting the sound in the compressed ear. Their great headphones, don't get me wrong, just sitting up while watching a 2 hour movie got tiresome.
I sound really picky in this thread... :p
Its primarily for videos etc to avoid waking my roommate. Not using onboard audio (but I imagine that doesn't matter when its being sent wirelessly it will be of a lesser quality no matter what). But the wireless receiver above looks pretty nice. Has anyone used it or can verify its quality?
I have a really nice pair of shures and I want to be able use them wirelessly with my computer. Is there anywhere I can buy some sort of receiver to hook up to my computer for wireless audio?
Has anyone found a comprehensive list that details the differences between the haf 912, 912 plus and 912 advanced? Google hasn't been that much of a help.
Media Player works but i dont really care for the way they handle audio. Maybe ill f around with the settings a little to make it look better but i prefer itunes for audio. I may just end up staying with the two i use.
I know its super subject but I don't like the way kmplayer looks.
Trying out jrmedia now. Ill let you know if this is my future wife...err....media player.
I want something that combines all elements of power and beauty. It needs to easily do all the media holding/playing etc as well as be extremely pleasing to the eye. I just like the way itunes looks and for movies media player does great.
The issue i have with media monkey is that Im huge when it comes to aestetics. Media monkey is great but i feel its so cluttered and lacks the sweet finish of some of the others. Maybe i should have mentioned what in my original post :p
While I've always been a fan of itunes and media center (I'm sure that made some people reading this faint) I've recently had a large addition of avis and a couple other formats added to my library. As a result I can't use just itunes and I don't really care for the format of media center audio...
What with a $100 off, I might take the dive and finally get a U2410. The only question I have is what the quality of a PS3 and a wii on it would be like. Any thoughts?
Also curious, which would be the better output for my 5850: displayport or hdmi?
Sorry I've been out of town for awhile and am going back out fairly soon so I won't be able to keep up with this thread until august. That being said, I'm having PSU issues as well so it looks like I'll be draining my system and swapping some stuff out.
As far as what my set up is, I have a...
extremely painful loop. Its an matx box with a radiator on top that I mounted myself. Getting this apart and back together would take close to 6 hours. What top do you recommend for the future?
i hear the occasional gurgle but i think thats the res just being a little empty. I don't have an aftermarket top. Will that solve everything? I was looking into that and it seems like it has potential to do that. The issue is everything is filled so there is no way for me to put on the top...
Got a new DDC 3.25 running and its a little loud. Any ideas how to lessen the noise? Its currently Velcroed down. Id prefer not to have to drain the entire system to fix it (aka replace the top). Its just kind of annoying given the rest of the system is virtually passive.
Now there is a hum coming from the power in on the video card. The card is watercooled and the hum is not fan related. I'm going to let it dry overnight. Maybe that will change something. Any ideas wth that hum is?
tried using other rails. No change. Still a no vga beep. Is it possible I fried my video card? I have no other computer to test that hypothesis. I have no idea what else could be the issue. Its just tough becuase the coolant says that its non conductive so it theoretically shouldnt cause a problem.
New build, everything was working perfectly fine. Then there was a small leak of coolant (Dangerden MC 5 or whatever) and now it isn't posting. The coolant is non conductive (so it says). So the leak caused some of the coolant to get in the power in plug for the video card and possibly the main...
ASUS tech support says that the board/cpu doesn't support DDR 1600 and thats why I'm not getting the posts I need however, I've used the same ram on the same board (3 rmas ago) thoughts?
So heres the story:
New build. MATX with watercooling. Required a lot of modding etc to get it working but i finally did about a month and a half ago. The issue though was my pump was too big so as a result I decided to get a new pump and a new videocard with a water block. So low and behold...
Because my psu is modular I have a series of eight pin connectors on it which you plug molex etc into it. I plugged the atx 12v into the pci. Is there anything I can do to test to see if that is the case?
so I made the dumb ass mistake of plugging my atx 12v connector into a pci port in my psu which caused a spark and some smoke. After switching out the psu the computer gets power and will turn on but won't post. When unplugging the 12v connector, it does the same thing. Is my mobo gone or is...
