    Confirmed power supply issue. I swapped in my HTPC power supply and I got the desktop to boot. I was kinda leaning towards this because of the light flickering I was seeing. (Just to double confirm I reconnected the old power supply and still nothing)

    I do get an error tone if I disconnect the additional PCIE power connectors from the video card. I will see about swapping in the PSU from my HTPC. It's only a 400W PSU so if it is a PSU issue hopefully that will be enough to at least let it boot so that I can confirm the issue.

    If you want low power maybe consider an Atom build. I just spent $300 on a whole new NAS setup (not counting hard drives, which I already had) and I went with a dual core atom setup.
