Before I upgraded, I was using a Pentium D 920. LoL! I was trying to be patient waiting until the DX11 cards were out for my new build but couldn't. Also, I finally replaced my 9 year old monitor for an Acer H243Hbmid only because the screen started showing lots of noise and turning off/on...
I upgraded my computer and all I need is a new video card. I have an ATI X1900 and patiently waiting for a DirectX 11 card. Looking forward to the reviews of the 5000 series. I know the games supporting DirectX 11 will not show up until probably next year but just want to make sure I have a...

The logic is simple. Why pay more for two cards (a video card and a tuner card) when you can get it all-in-one'der. :) I know....you're probably thinking about the tv/vcr combo that was a disaster....can't upgrade seperate components.
Anyway...my new computer has the ASUS P5WD2-E...
I found another website that has it for $437.95 at Digitally Unique but on backorder. :(
http://www.digitallyunique.com/viewprod...m?category_id=418867&productId=4196596
I stand corrected.
I thought the 550 is better than the 200 and since the 550 is not in AIW X1900 then it means it's doesn't perform as well as a standalone tuner.
I did not know it was built into the chips.
I thought it was completely left out.
Now I don't feel slightly cheated...
Wish they didn't keep using the Theater 200 video decoder but use the Theater 550 instead.

Hopefully, the it'll start showing up next week but I guess it will not matter since I'm waiting for my final piece for my new computer that will...
Hey...I get the same thing about my Camaro Z28 from the Ford Mustang folks.
The reason I chose Intel over AMD because of the dual core and VT and don't have the patience to wait for AMD's M2.
No idea and thanx for the website!
I am getting a new computer and I just recieved my first part today: Pentium D 920 from www.onsale.com
I want this motherboard and snagging it as soon as it's available.
I've been using froogle, google, and Copernic Agent Pro (search engine software)...
I'm looking forward to replacing my ancient computer that has an ATI All-In-Wonder Radeon video card....YEP! The first generation All-In-Wonder 32MB card that actually worked on some games that stated you need at least 64MB of video memory!
