tried unlocking a sapphire board myself two days ago ...had no luck there said it flashes ok but not unlocking the shaders
from what i can gather probably best just to overclock it

thanks for the replys one thing i was confused about was that i have a 955 which is standard clocked at 3.2ghz ...i wondered why the 960 which is a higher model number is clocked at 3ghz of course wouldnt be a problem just to overclock it i think was just curious

well i have ordered a psu which unfortunetly was faulty so had to send it back was a corsair tx650 v2 so that will be the one i use once i get a replacement

i am thinking of upgrading i have a nvidia 460 2gb gainward and my system is a 650 watt would i be able to sli with a 768 or 1gb 460 as secondary and more importantly would by 650 watt power supply cope ?
well odd thing is that power has to be getting to the motherboard as when i plug it on and switch the power supply on there is a green light showing power is getting to the motherboard so didnt know if there was something i am missing like a motherboard setting or something
have it connected to a asus sabretooth 990fx system i connected the power supply and a green light comes on the motherboard but it will just not power up at all hooked up both the 24 pin and 8 pin power
tried my old power supply and it worked fine

i have a similar sort of problem hardrives acting sporadically i noticed though it varied depending on how many usb devices i had connected if i only had a couple of drives connected it would be fine

now when there connected i have several issues like the computer not going past the bios screen or random crashes and just being slow in general (its very fickle though like right now have them all...
