Ok i was ordering the Gd65 from Newegg but its sold out today, so i am trying to figure out the differences. Between Gd65 and Gd55. Is it jist fewer Usb 3.0 ports and 2 less sata ports? Is that really all there is????
Thanks for all the help on the power supply I thought that was totally nuts that this system would need a 900w supply!

I had a 5870 Sapphire card and gave my son my old 8800 GTS 640. Well the 8800 finally died (he tried the oven trick and no go either) and I put my 5870 in his pc. I cant believe its gonna cost me more to replace that card with the same card than when I bought it. So my question is Southern...
I was just getting ready to pull the trigger for the Asus monitor then I read the review here on the Sceptre monitor. Anyone have any thoughts on the Asus monitor. I am now very torn as which would be the better gaming monitor?
I recently upgraded to a 5870, and my monitor a Asus 25.5 VW266H died its a 19X12, my problem is the Asus MT276HE 27inch 1080p is only $30 more and Newegg will allow me to upgrade and pay the diff. I am really torn switching resolutions. Is it worth it for the diff? Is it difficult to get the...
Ok I had my new 25.5 inch Asus monitor die, its 19 x 12 panel. But I see that I can get the Asus 27 for $40 more but its a 1920x1080. I read that theres a driver issue with some radeon cards that it doesnt fill the whole screen kinda like letterboxing look to it. Is this correct?? I just got...
Ok I got a Asus 26 inch monitor and its dead. Got it at Christmas ASUS VK266H. Dont know what happened but it has died. Now I am wondering if instead of replacing it with the same one if I should look for a better or bigger one. I see the Asus 27 inch is $40 more. But I am worried about...
Ok I am not the greatest at overclocking, I have fried a few systems :D. I am getting a new 5870 graphics card and was worrying that my cpu and memory might be a bit of a bottleneck at stock settings. I was running a mild overclock of 3 GHZ and 1200 on the ram. So last nite I sped things up...
Ok I am upgrading to a 5870 for my rig and am wondering about the future. It seems that using tessellation in DX11 on the 5XXX seems to kill the fps on these. Is tessellation going to be that big to game devs?? The reason I ask is all the info I see on this seems to go both ways. Just...
I am upgrading my video card (ati 5870) but I tried to play Arkham Asylum last nite. I was running it at 1680x1050, it played very well. But all of a sudden I cant get over 10fps. Its chugging like an old man running up hill. I recently got ME2 and its having issues and my Geforce 8800GTS is...
I want to upgrade my system, but am concerned if my system will possibly be a bottleneck for a 5870 or 5970 card. With my current specs should I get one of these or go to a 280 nvidia?? Heres my current specs. Also concerned on card size. I have heard lots of people running into the cards being...
