I would have to say SkyFire. Will we ever get true Flash functionality on the iPhone ... though it probably doesn't matter since most sites (e.g. Hulu, etc.) won't allow it unless you pay a monthly subscription for their service/app.
You could try the official USB.org website - http://www.usb.org/developers/ssusb/ssusbtools. They have a tool to verify that it's truly running at USB 3.0 speeds.
To answer your first question, if you jailbrake your device, you can download MyWi from Cydia, which will allow hotspot functionality without paying ATT.

Well, after the Apple conference, it looks like the iPad 2 is seemingly underwhelming. Camera, thinner profile, better battery life aren't really killer features that everybody would rush out to get.
This app looks like one of the many XBMC clones you see in the app store (I actually use one myself). It's definitely better using software when most if not all people have smartphones nowadays.
