New York To Ban Sugary Drinks Over 16 Oz - Update - Stopped by courts 3/11

Banning is stupid. USA should just make healthcare public, legalize drugs and tax everything that's detrimental to health, with the taxes directly pumped into healthcare. Bam! Best healthcare in the world, and can even reduce most of the normal taxes!

***Official Reviews Thread*** Nvidia Geforce GTX Titan - Launched Feb. 21, 2013

That's your problem. Most of the people who'd buy a 1k$ GPU would be people who know what the hell they're doing, so they'd take all safety precautions needed if they decided to overclock.

***Official Reviews Thread*** Nvidia Geforce GTX Titan - Launched Feb. 21, 2013

Well, honestly, in this case the real bonus for raising the TDP wouldn't even be the overclock, but the overclock stability on GPU boost, since with the TDP being much higher GPU boost would only have the temperature to work on for balancing frequencies, which should avoid part of the...

But still, wouldn't part of that be achievable with water, as long as the GPU boost didn't have that stupid TDP limit and the card had 2x8pin connectors?

Guests at a hotel drank water from a tank with a decomposing corpse for 2+ weeks

Just a good monitoring system for the water filtering system would be enough. Once it sees that particles in the water are higher than the threshold someone is called to investigate why is the water so dirty.

Magnets implanted in fingers give sensitivity to magnetic fields

I am an electrician. Being able to sense electromagnetic fields would help me a huge lot in my field of work. If you read the AMA you'll see that this tool is mostly useful to people who work in the electrical field.

Well, you could try making the gloves... And no, no problems with sensitivity after the damage has healed.

Magnets implanted in fingers give sensitivity to magnetic fields

Stronger magnets wouldn't feel the more subtle changes into the magnetic field. This does. Blabla, magnet too weak for that, blabla. Read the fucking AMA.

Magnets implanted in fingers give sensitivity to magnetic fields

Read the AMA... The guy said that the magnet is far too weak to create any problems.

Magnets implanted in fingers give sensitivity to magnetic fields

Sensitivity is lower with magnetic gloves. Neodymium, so yes, it's rare earth. Sensitivity is infinitely higher with implanted magnet.

Forget Anti Aliasing - Where is PPI

I have no idea what you're talking about, but: 1280x3=3840 720x3=2160 1920x2=3840 1080x2=2160 So both these resolutions can be shown on the screen without any scaling whatsoever (just show the same pixel 2/3 times), so no loss of quality or input lag involved.

Forget Anti Aliasing - Where is PPI

The good thing about a 4k monitor is that it doesn't need scaling to run at 1080p or 720p, so it's an awesome investment, since for now you can play at lower res and still have the huge space for other uses, and in the future play at native res once tech catches up.

Forget Anti Aliasing - Where is PPI

Lol, that made me laugh. Bullshit: your mouse movement is pretty much analogic, and having higher resolution allows you to see targets from far away that you would not see with a lower res.
