Intel Pentium G3258 + Gigabyte GA-B85-HD3 = $110

Cougar Solution Black Steel Gaming ATX Mid Tower Computer Case = $20 AR

I don't feel like doing the legwork on the rest...
You will never notice the difference between those 2 CPUs but it looks fine. Worth noting newegg has the 270x for $12 more than that 270. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...m-_-14-127-761
It is something like 10% faster than the 270 but uses a bit more power to do it.
The 270 won't feel dated for a while. It is a good spot on the value ladder imo. The 265 is, at the moment, a slower product for similar money. The sapphire card he picked has a lot of good reviews on the egg. It also looks like the cooler would be pretty quiet. Seems like a good choice.

If you have a microcenter nearby I would look at the 7850k for CPU/GPU. At full newegg/amazon prices I would probably go for an i3 or i5 processor + discrete graphics. Do you do any video encoding? That would be the only way I can see that 8 core processor being worthwhile. Older MMOs aren't...
Microcenter has the Gigabyte board (http://www.microcenter.com/product/432995/Z97_LGA_1150_mITX_Intel__Motherboard) but it is labeled wrong as mATX in the title. I think I am leaning towards the Asrock (http://www.microcenter.com/product/433091/Z97E-ITX_LGA1150_Intel_mITX_Motherboard) anyway...
I don't really have a firm budget but it isn't something I want to be upgrading in a couple years unless I am just adding drives. The CPU and MB are a combo from Microcenter @ $240 AR for both. Really not sure how much CPU I need but I figured the i3 was cheap enough. If the i3 4350T was...
I am looking to put together a media server. The plan is to use it as a NAS with enough power to actually transcode HD content. It won't be used for anything else really. Just storing a ton of crap, accessing files through my desktop, and streaming through my ps3, roku, & laptop. I thought about...
M4 back down to $345 AC. I was actually all set to order it till I read those reviews on the corsair drive. While I think it would be hard to go wrong with the M4 that corsair looks like it may be THE drive to get.
SS the page that has the AR price. Amazon customer service is really good. I would bet they will credit for the rebate that is obviously not for the ram after purchase.
DRM review
Not saying this guy is definately correct. He could be an idiot. I change hardware enough that what he describes would be a huge issue for me.
Picked up Civ 4. Was going to pick up Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena as well but the review about the terrible DRM associated with it made me change my mind.
I notice it says "participating theatres" yet I can find no list indicating theatres which are participating. In particular I am wondering about Memphis area malco theatres. Also, do these count as passes or work exactly like tickets?
Just reiterating what has already been said but your CPU is running way way way to hot. To give you an example I run a e6300 in my htpc and, under 2x prime95, it hits 56c @ 2.8ghz. If I had to guess, I would say you have a pushpin not all the way in.
Truely disappointing they didn't continue this series or at least give it an ending. Great show. That being said this needs to be about half its current price for me bite.
Looks somewhat hot price wise. It was a bit cheaper a couple weeks ago but thats no longer available and this is. As for whether its a good gaming mouse. I would say no. I would go with something corded for gaming. MX510, MX518, G5, Diamondback, Copperhead
Berserk!!! great anime imo
Heat Guy J - cop drama, I wasn't expecting this one to be good but I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Gungrave - only seen the first couple discs but I am enjoying it so far
Haibane Remei - Slice of life, I dont usually enjoy this kind of anime but this one was good.
They will come with a small hole drilled in the UPC. I got my first order with no defacement but the few items I have ordered since have all had a small hole drilled in the UPC.
