If I copy-paste the currently posted link it works. If I click the link in the "preview" version of the post it works. If I click the posted link it doesn't. I'm guessing anandtech's redirect service is screwing it up. I'll update the OP.
EDIT: HA! I got the link to not just work but go...
I'm using my default server, whichever gets assigned to those close to Boston.
It gave me incessant errors when trying to download a separate game but let me activate this none the less. It proceeded to give me errors, intermittently downloading small chunks just to pause but it eventually...
Two Things:
1) There Servers are totally overloaded
2) You can absolutely activate it despite that
I bought it. I'm experiencing the server problems which is really killing my download. However, the activation servers are separate and working just fine. So, if you want to play it tonight, go...
Ripped from the pages of SlickDeals:
Dawn of War II Retribution courtesy of Amazon PC Downloads for only $7.49. The best part, IMHO, is you buy it, grab the code and head straight over to Steam to activate it.
Link: (If it doesn't work, copy-paste. If that doesn't do, search for the title...
It periodically drops to ~$50. I've picked up two for myself and one for the girlfriend. They were all great systems for the price. They're a great value and still going strong. Thanks for posting the latest round.
I had almost the same experience. I emailed them, got lots of crummy advice, traded like 8 emails, got it escalated and then they canceled it and never sent another response. Never even informed me it was canceled, I just saw the chargeback on my bank card.
I will not buy from them again.
The Freespace Installer is presently hooking me up with all the notable mods and tweaks but thanks for the advice none the less.
I broke out my old stick but quickly came to remember why I had retired it to a dusty bin. I am remedying that now and I think my solution would make an excellent...
That's not a hot deal, it's the going rate at the moment.
For instance: Amazon, free shipping/prime-eligible and no tax makes it cheaper than GameStop

I contacted trymedia's customer support.
Got this message a bit more than a day ago,
No "news" or any other responses but about an hour after I got the message the charge was reversed on my CC. I still haven't received anything other than a confirmation that my order went through and the...
Based on the threads on slickdeals and cheapassgamer the 3rd party that's actually selling the game is consistently honoring cancellation requests. Hence, I'm going to let my $15 ride a few more days.
Either I get FO3 Deluxe for a damn good price or I get a refund. I'm willing to let them...
Oh boy, if you like Duke Nukem Forever then I've got a bridge for sale that you are going to absolutely love! It's low maintenance and begging for a toll, I just don't have the capital to install one myself....

I went to Advance Auto for oil over the weekend. Walked in the door and prominently displayed was 5 quarts of decent namebrand oil plus a decent filter for $18. No coupons, no hassle, price prominently advertised. That's a very reasonable proposition and I strongly suspect they are selling it...
I stand by my opinion that, at least in 3d, watching New York getting ripped apart by war is gorgeous. Despite numerous, now fixed, flaws, Ars gave the game their blessing. So I'm not the only one that liked it...
You can pick it up for more like $30 used.
Better yet, you can just buy a code and download the game directly from EA. I got one off the-online-auction-site-that-shall-not-be-named-in-hot-deals last night for $25 Canadian ($26 USD). Buy it now, delivery in a few minutes and a mere 9.6 GB...

I would love to run 3 of those in a 3D surround setup.
Does anyone have experience with cheetahdeals?
Their site has very little by way of reviews, the few I found were almost all from single-posters who signed up that day, left a glowing review and never logged in again.
I got mine a few days ago and they actually have pretty decent audio quality. Nothing like my Boss headphones of course but very functional and a real steal for $10.
I have a decent CRT projector and some friends and I did a double blind test to see if differences in resolution and refresh were noticeable without being told. We took the Matrix Trilogy in 1080p24 and used my computer as a scaler. It's a CRT projector so it doesn't have a native resolution and...
Energy efficiency is great and all but at the end of the day no matter how much of a power hog it is, you're paying a few cents an hour so if you're thinking about spending $1000+ on a display, what matters is how it looks and from the reviews I've read this is one good looking tv.
This weekend I plan to play with a 3.5 kW neon sign transformer and the neon sign it use to power was smaller than a 72" TV. Comparatively, it's really not that much power.
The platter density is so much higher on some of the new hard drives that they actually out perform the old 74gb raptors.
If all you need is speed, grab two raptors and mirror them. But for less money (even at $60 a piece) you can have a 1Tb drive that performs as well as a single raptor.
Like any display, that is entirely dependent on viewing distance. I use mine at a distance of a little under 3 feet and have no pixelation issues.
Why did you think it would be an issue? The pixels aren't that much larger than your average 19" LCD and there drastically smaller than any LCD TV...
