    When I purchased my 2x580's EVGAs at Fry's on Saturday it showed that many other stores had them within 50 miles. Has anyone tried running a local check at Fry's.com? I show 6 stores with them in a 75 mile radius and that's EVGA.

    New SSD a waste of $$?

    For a boot system it's definitely worth it. Go with a reliable brand like Intel. For data storage it get's a bit tough to say because you can go through 160-256GB in no time. Besides, you can get an Intel 80GB G2 SSD for under $150 now.

    875k vs 1090t for gaming

    I just went from a 1090T setup to a i7 950 setup and I can tell you there is a pretty big difference in gaming. I would definitely go with the intel setup. also, the benchmarks on my same system went up about 800-1000 in passmark with both cpu's OC'd to 3.6.

    well I personally have 2x580's in SLI and I couldn't be happier. I run at 2560x1440 and "needed" the extra push because I prefer to have 50-60FPS solid when I play. I do, however, understand that there are a few drawbacks to running multi GPU setups like micro stutter and lower minimum...

    I just want one thing explained to me. Why does the AMD crowd use the defense of "well 2 of 69xx smoke 1 580" when arguing their side? Shouldn't we be comparing single gpu vs single gpu?
