Raised Fist Salute - "Black Power" or "Army Strong"?

I've never served so this is the first time I've heard of the "Army Strong" raised fist tradition. But it's interesting that only black fists are considered political gestures. https://news.vice.com/article/black-female-cadets-under-investigation-for-raised-fist-picture

    Which cheap 120GB/240GB SSD?

I usually buy Samsung but I don't need top of the line speed for a cheap PC that I'm assembling. Is there a decent cheap 120GB/240GB available? Is a 240GB Kingston V300 for $65 OK? Or is there something better out there for around $60...

Are there any "fast" 128GB/200GB microSD cards on the market?

I've been looking and it seems that all of the larger capacity cards are fairly slow. Slower than 20MB/sec seq writes usually. I've used faster 64GB cards (faster than 60MB/sec seq writes) so would like something that fast but with more capacity. Or does this not exist? Thanks!

Low cost way to get 5.1 sound?

A friend just got a new TV and we're looking into a low cost way of extracting 5.1 sound from it. Does anyone sell a low cost 5.1 amp? We don't need anything fancy or high powered, just a way to take the optical out from the TV and get 5.1 sound with an adjustable center/dialog channel. I...

Corey Jones shooting (stranded motorist shot by plainclothes cop)

No thread on this shooting? Stranded motorist (in possession of a legal firearm) gets approached by plainclothes cop. Something happens and the cop kills the motorist. No audio/video so it's going to be another Rorschach test for the righties and lefties...

    Multi-port drive docks?

Anyone use one of these multi-port drive docks? http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0078H8L04 I have a bunch of smaller HDDs lying around so it would be nice to use something like this to array them (using Storage Spaces or some other soft RAID) for the occasional backup. The $70 price seems decent too...

    Good HDD testing utility?

One of my 4TB drives got marked as failed by my RAID card. Not sure why since it seems to be working. What is a good app to do a full torture test on the drive? I took a look at DBAN but it's a boot utility so I can't run it in Windows, which I'd rather do so I don't have to tie up my PC...
