Yeah, I'll 100% agree it's dumb to leave a gun unattended outside. You're asking for trouble. It just pisses me off when people's first reaction is to call the cops for anything because they're too scared or childish to deal with something themselves.
You should probably mind your own business and stop perpetuating the nanny-state attitude or knock on the dude's door and let him know he left his shit outside.
I have an IT related bachelor's degree, worked as an network/system admin for a few years, then joined the military. I'm still serving and have a couple years left in my contract.
I have tuition assistance while I'm active duty plus GI bill to use. I want to start working towards my master's...
Got ahold of a 16gb 3GS for $20. It has a broken screen, looks like both glass and LCD need replacing. Anyone have experience replacing them, or can you recommend a good place to get it done for a decent price? I plan on selling it when it's fixed.
Underarmour Heat Gear boxer briefs, cool, comfortable, and the heat and sweat won't make them stretch out throughout the day. I work outside in the heat all day and love them. A little pricey, $20ish a pair, but they will last you a long time.
Listened to World War Z, loved it. Listened to the first Dragon Tattoo book, was ok, that genre isn't really my thing. Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter sounds interesting though.
Got it working. Had Win7 installed, installed Ubuntu 10.10 on a separate partition, same drive, can boot into either. Then with VMWare Workstation on Win7, created a VM that points to the linux partition for it's disk. That was easier than I thought it'd be.
Is it possible to have a primary OS (Windows 7), run VMs (Linux) on that host, but also have the option to boot directly into that VM natively.
I have a Windows 7 machine, and I run Ubuntu as a VM. Is there any software that will allow me to boot directly to a VM like that? Or have a dual boot...
I have a hub, I use it to play HD .mkv files which it does flawlessly. Hooked up via HDMI and playing files from the local HD, usb attached storage, and via the network. It has a few quirks/bugs which are supposedly being worked on by WD, but I'm very pleased with it so far.
Haha, I'm looking forward to this when I finally part ways with the military. I got my degree and worked corporate IT for a few years before I got a hair up my ass and enlisted. Transitioning back to civilian work after the Army should be a hoot.
Takes getting used to for sure. Watching a group of dudes that are trying to be stealthy crash into tree branches and trip in every little hole is pretty comedic, until it's you falling over, haha.
