    Apple needs to revamp iCloud

There currently isn't an option for photos that is verifiable other than importing them to a computer http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083 or using a 3rd party service such as Flickr. I do use both iCloud backup and iTunes backup but do not completely trust either. I also think that Apple...

    how to browse icloud?

The only thing you can do with a backup to iCloud is to use it for a complete restore of an iOS device. There is no way to view the contents of the backup. iCloud has other capabilities such as the ability to sync Contacts and those you can log in to iCloud.com and view and edit. But nothing...

    smartphone network extender

That is correct. I believe there are other types of devices that amplify Verizon's signal but the Samsung Network Extender that Verizon sells essentially communicates within your apartment with your cell phone using cellular frequencies (somewhat like a mini cell tower) and the device is hooked...

    Question

It can be a variety of things depending on the nature of what is to be accomplished. One widespread and early use of that architecture was in companies where the server managed a database (e.g., inventory levels, financial information, customer lists) and clients in various departments requested...

Convert Quicken for Mac 2007 (.qdfm) to something Quicken for Windows can use?

I didn't read all of the details but that does look bad. I moved the other direction from Quicken for Windows to iBank on a Mac and it didn't require and chicken sacrifices although it did take some time to get used to iBank.

    OneNote is now free

I have been using and am happy with Evernote as it has always run on all of my devices (Windows, Mac, iPhone) and has been free -- but it's possible that is also ignorance as I'm not familiar with OneNote.

    802.11g speed survey

    802.11g speed survey

24.63 down, 5.95 up just now with a WRT54GL. Comcast Performance. I am very happy with the WRT54GL. When I compare wireless and ethernet connected speeds on it they are nearly identical with the difference being less than the variation between back to back tests on either connection method.

    Apple exclusive software

    MacBook Air

I have the 2012 model 13" Air with 4GB and think it is more than enough. A lot of people on the Mac forums suggest getting 8 to "future proof" since the ram is not upgradeable. In spite of that if I was buying one today I would still go with 4GB.
