I do realize this but with how easy it is to flash a new ROM, anyone can do it. I understand that Samsung sucks for not updating the software, but the hardware is awesome. If you want ease of use out of the box then yeah, look elsewhere I guess.
I would buy whatever is cheaper. Real world, clock for clock, you will not really notice a difference. My 1055t is at 4Ghz and I never notice a difference using this one and a friends i7.
my x6 is at 1.47 under and H50 and stays under 53c. I think max volt/max temp is 1.5/55c
Google it or if someone else can comment to make sure, but I have not had any problems and have been at these settings for months.
I just looked at the pic again... did you do that to all 4 of the holes??? If you did that to more than one of those holes I would sell off the parts you currently have, maybe see if you can get something from someone who could salvage some parts off of the x58 and buy a pre built system. Unless...
I wouldn't. I am not sure what I would do, but it would not be connecting the rest of my parts to that board. I am not trying to make you feel bad or anything, but I have never seen a pic of that happening.
I was once bearing down on a screw on a DFI NF4 and the screw driver slipped and...

Also.. I had an OCZ Powerstream a while back and it was one of the best PSUs I have owned.

If you go with the AM3 board I would be looking at an AMD card. You can get a great deal on a used 58xx series in the forums right now. +1 on the G.Skill ECO line. Amazing ram for a great price. I went with a Seasonic 650 watt and have been very happy with it.
I have an x6 1055t and I am happy with it. I game, edit photos, general usage. I do not notice a difference between using my x6 and a friends i7, so I would just go with the cheapest of the two.
Smokin hot deal on a desk. Ended up being free shipping for me for a grand total of 38 dollars.

Well after much digging around, it is the board. It seems it likes to change the multi to 4x on 1 core for some reason. I hope this will be taken care of with a bios update and happy to know it is not just me having this problem. Thanks for the advice..
I am using a Gigabyte 890gpa-ud3h. It has not happened at stock, but then I have not really ran it at stock. I have never seen a chip error after days of being stable though. It is always that first core also, never any of the others.
For some reason the first core of my 1055t will drop down to 1170. I have CnQ disabled and also turbo. It happens with various OCs and I can't figure out why. I can run prime stable for 20 hours with no errors. It usually happens while folding. It will fold for days with no problems and then the...
Well, I have a wii and I support Gigabyte by buying their products, so I am okay with it. I thought long and hard before buying the UD3h and am happy with it. I was a die hard DFI fan and this board has more than met my expectations. So, if I was to win, I would be getting something I want...
Me either really, but I like entering contests. I just built this entire rig I am using now from selling a pot and pan set I won from sony. Now I just want that wii so I can sell it and finish my other folding box or update my aging 4850. If used correctly, FB can be a great tool. If you need to...
