OCZ is known for their poor reliability: http://www.hardware.fr/articles/843-7/ssd.html
Is this mainly because of:
their reliance on Sandforce controller
their potentially (!) poor manufacturing process (bad QA/sampling etc.)
or the quality of the flash chips.
When SSD/HDD failures occur, aren't people afraid of making use of their warranty when their personal and financial information could be stored on the NAND-chips/sectors and still retrieved form the manufacturer (or enterprise server SSD's with confidential information)?
I have a 8800 Ultra 512MB and WinXp 32bit right now.
If I get this card, can I address three different monitors (all with differing native resolutions) on Windows XP 32bit?
I don't care much about playing games on three monitors simultaneously; I just want to make the jump from my current...
I just got a new 2TB SATA drive and Win7.
I currently have a 750GB (currently with 2 partitions) with WinXP on it. (I use a password to login to my machine.)
I want to make the 750GB a data drive (with the currently existing data on it), and use the 2TB SATA as my new main drive and...

You listen to music with an average quality of 192kb/s and you play PC games. You have an onboard 7.1 chip on your Gigabyte motherboard (Realtek ALC888 8 Channel Audio Codec
) and you use a $60 headset from Creative fatal1ty MK II.
What is the likely bottleneck (i.e., where would spending $100...
EDIT: The only question I have left is this: Is it worth 30 bucks to spend on:

?
I know this is a classic problem and I've researched it quite a bit online.
The argument is made that the OS and the hardware needs some address space.
When I had 2GB, however, all of it was displayed in physical memory!
So, why does it eat away >.8GB when there are 4GB and (almost?) none...
I currently have

in my system.
The motherboard is the first Gigabyte MB that came out with the launch of the Core 2 Duo processors (DS3, I think).
Now, I want to get 2x2GB.
1. If I get 4-4-4-12, will it be supported?
2. If I get 4-4-4-12...
