I usually get 1 step below the top dog, but with Titans and X2's, that rule doesn't apply so well. To restate my rule, I like to get 1 step below the top single GPU regular rotation card.
However, it seems like the best performance/dollar is at two steps below the top single gpu regular...
I've been out of the loop and I can't find specific information other than the following: FUry x is the highest end radeon solution, and some of the lower end ones might be rebrands of prior architecture?
So what is the current order from top to bottom? I would like to upgrade an old 670...
I was wondering if this was a recent development. I remember that low power sandy bridge models were available at newegg a few years ago.
Shintai: I thought that might be true. I'm going to get the 4130T anyway. At least I will be guaranteed a low power draw and I might have the...
Well then. I think I'll get the i3-4130t then. More power never hurt anybody, unless it involved more power behind a shin kick. That has hurt many people.
This is disappointing though. I probably shouldn't bother to ask if AMD has a low power alternative to the g1820t?
I've been waiting for this chip for about a month now and I have not been able to find it anywhere. It was released, technically, in December. I haven't found any indication that this was supposed to be OEM only.
Anybody know what's going on? I wanted a low power chip for my updated...
These work perfectly for me because I was going to buy a raid card to update my WHS. From what tasukete says and what online reviews tend to harp on indicate these are very reliable drives.
I just bought 4, will put them in raid 5 or raid 6.

This appears to be a good deal. Usually it's over $200 and this appears to have good reliability.
PLease see tasukete's note below. This is a SAS drive, not SATA.
Buyer's remorse is independent of later acquired knowledge. And it's not like they could have known the 290x was coming at such a price point.
However most of the people on this board are fairly sophisticated and they probably purchased the 780's with full knowledge that it was priced high due...
I don't think it would work anyway. Even the infamous Rollo bought Radeon cards.
I might as well play along. To the best of my recollection:
GeForce 440ti
Radeon 9700 AIW (favorite card of all time!)
Radeon 1800xt
Radeon 3870
Radeon 4770's (X-fire)
Radeon 6770's (x-fire)
Radeon...
Is it as fun as the original Rome: Total War? Empire was not very fun and Shogun II was too heavy on managing the meta-game and tactics were difficult to control in the RTS aspect of the game. The original Rome seemed to strike the right balance with micro and macro-management.
THe flatblack "flexforce" cables are absolutely great. I cried when I retired my Ultra x3 and had to switch to non-flat cables. I believe all the major PSU players have licensed the patent from Ultra.
There is nothing more hideous than regular cables that are not fully sleeved.
Goddamn. I just paid like $140 for the xl r2. It's worth it even at that price. As indicated in Anandtech's review, it's the rare case that is good at sound dampening AND decent at thermal performance.
Thread title should be changed to "AMD GOT ITS CHAIN BACK!" since the dude was stolen by Apple from AMD first.
And even though Anand seems to have glowing praise for Mr. Koduri, AMD's graphics division has not been hurting technologically. I'm not sure I understood the hints about Koduri's...
It's strange because I don't use it and am not familiar with it? I have an EVGA card but I don't bother with precision.
EDIT: I suppose you've answered the question about how the program works.
