I updated my 2003 S2000 stock wheels (AP1)
Fronts - 205/50/16
Rears - 225/50/16
with 2006 S2000 (AP2v2) stock wheels
Fronts 215/45/17
Rears 245/45/17
Reasons why I did it are obvious, more tire contact patch, better braking/cornering etc.
But the main reason why I did it is that 16" tires...
Ill probably make the switch to GEICO here in the next week, its the same coverage as USAA but just a few hundred cheaper for the wife and I ($500) a year for auto.
I was quoted roughly $400 a year less than what I'm paying now by switching to GEICO (shudders when I think of the commercials), from USAA.
I have been a member of USAA car insurance for over 7 years. Does switching auto insurance companies hurt me in the long run? (Loyalty savings, etc)...
After careful consideration I'm going to wait for this car to come out a year and possibly get one at the end of the year if there is still one sitting on a dealer lot.
Thanks guys
I've found two dealers to sell at MSRP... I hate paying MSRP for a domestic product... on the fence to see how the kinks get worked out and just buy next year...
I have til next weekend to make a decision
I'm looking for a base model with no options: $35,700 + $800 destination = $36,500 + TTL
I currently have a 2003 S2000 and a 2007 Civic Coupe (manual)
Selling S2000 to use as a downpayment for this car with some cash on top. I figure I can get about $15-16k for the S2000.
Anyways...

O M G. So much car, so little price.
I would like to assess how an owner of such car partakes in such approaches:
As a new C7 member who tracks their car, do you take your time to see what builds are out there for the new motor? Do you ever hit that spending limit of, "I should have got a C6 Z06 then buy more track parts, or got...
Good movie, probably the highest critically rated. I still like them in this order:
1 (because it started it all), 5, 7, 4, 6, 3, 2
ballmode... Sorry but this forum is not for movies...? Garage = tools and stuff...

I signed up for the Louisville, KY one. How long does the event last? Do you only get 1 hour with the car? Do you get to choose cars? I'm actually wanting to try the Fiesta ST, the Ecoboost Stang and the F150 if they got it
If you lived anywhere other than Hawaii I would think you are doing fine, but really there isn't a way you could stretch that cars legs on the island imo.
Cayman S for the money over the M4 unless you need the more practical sized car for people
I'm a cheapskate but I also don't want to damage my car.
I fill a bucket of soapy water and my sponge and put it in my car (drive normally so it doesn't go everywhere).
Get to the wash and use the hose to rinse the car, then lather up the car with the sponge/bucket water.
Rinse car off, I...
It has the sport package, I don't know what makes it a premium package on the E90/E92's
It does have heated seats, moonroof... however it doesn't have the premium sound system
UPDATE: Bought a beater: 2007 Civic EX Coupe manual for 140k miles, $4900, no wrecks, just needed brakes and an allignment
Someone talk me out of this 335i, I test drove it ran perfect. Got the Vin# and checked it at the BMW dealer and all maintenance has been performed on schedule...
I'm going based on anything under $10k
Roadster - Any S2000 with a top that has no tears, basically pads/fluids and its good to track with decent rubber. Mazdaspeed Miatas and Solstice/Sky turbos, you might be able to find high mileage NC Miatas which I would get over the NA/NB if you want...
Considering the owner base is not like your typical corvette owner, you gotta be careful buying these used. I honestly think that "subarus hold their value" are better applied trading them in to dealers rather than second hand buyers.
All depends on the deal, I can easily find a C6 between 25-30, sometimes I have to stretch for the 2008+ LS3.
Cayman S I would have to travel for
M3 I would have to travel and find a low miles one.
Then I think to myself if I spend that much on a car I don't get a warranty what would...
I am SO on the fence with this car. Only a few things holding me back.
1. I sat in this car at the Indy Auto Show and the interior is so cheap feeling almost kia/ford fiesta like, BUT it was roomier than my 2004 WRX, everything was in the right place, and it worked. Plus decent storage space...
