The GTX 780, 770, 760 ti Thread *First review leaked $700+?*

I thought it'd be around $650, but I suppose that make sense of nVidia.

The GTX 780, 770, 760 ti Thread *First review leaked $700+?*

Let's hope that's the case, but as someone else mentioned on OC, they had pre-released GTX 680 at $566: http://cdn.overclock.net/7/7f/7f894614_189a.jpeg (now, obviously that screenshot could be a fake, but you never know)

The GTX 780, 770, 760 ti Thread *First review leaked $700+?*

The presumptive price for the 780 does seem pretty high, but it's to be expected I suppose. The Titan came out in Feb. this year, and nVidia must already have the 780 all planned out at that time. It's too bad that it only come with 3GB of VRAM.

The GTX 780, 770, 760 ti Thread *First review leaked $700+?*

Possibly ~$420 for the based clocked GTX 770 and ~$470 for the OC'd 770.

Why would you buy next gen Nvidia?

According to this article (http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/digitalfoundry-inside-killzone-shadow-fall), Killzone for PS4 uses 3GB of its memory for its graphical components. My take on this is that if a first gen game for PS4 already uses that much memory for 1080P, anybody that has...

The GTX 780, 770, 760 ti Thread *First review leaked $700+?*

When compared to 680/7970/7950, yes, $750 does seem like a bit much, but when you put it against their flagship Titan (which was released just a few months ago) it's really quite competitive.

Why more VRAM is needed in GPU?

Good post BrightCandle. The way I see it is that unless you have a multi-gpu setup 4~6GB VRAM is not necessary until Maxwell or Volta.

The GTX 780, 770, 760 ti Thread *First review leaked $700+?*

So let's see if I've got this right... we potentially have the 7xx cards coming out next month. The flagship GTX780 could either be a Titan LE or an enhanced GTX680. If it's the former, the price could be anywhere from $600 to $750, and if it's the latter, then the price would be <$500?
13. jenneth

Predictions? 760ti faster than 670?

I get what you're saying, but from nVidia's perspective the whole point about the 700 series could be just to release something until Maxwell is ready. There are still quite a bit of people who don't have a 600 series card.

Haswell-E Timing

Since Ivy Bridge-E is on schedule to launch in Q3 2013, so Q4 2014 (or later) for Haswell-E is probably the case.

How the PlayStation 4 is better than a PC

While I understand what you're saying, I think you're forgetting the fact that vast majority of people who have such PC are not just using them for gaming. We're also graphic artists, programmers, & etc.

Yep, although certain brands are more reputable than others.

Top high-end graphics cards?

I could be totally wrong, but since the OP said that he's not "overly worried about the price", I think he does have some sort of budget. So, I'd say go with a HD7970 Ghz.

GTX580 Upgrade Advice

I'm sort of on the same boat as well. I have an 560Ti and I've been thinking about getting either a 670 or a 7970. I'm strongly leaning toward getting either of those cards (thereby skipping the 780) and upgrade to a Maxwell next year.

High-quality Intel workstation mATX (no CPU/GPU/RAM OC)

Hey Loogs, For an mATX board, the V Gene is pretty expensive, but then you did say that your budget is around $200, so that's why I made that recommendation. :) At any rate, you can't really go wrong with Gigabyte, they make first rate motherboards. I suppose I do consider myself to be...

Where can I buy Filco brand mechanical keyboards?

I've had a Filco FKBN87M/EFB2 for about six months now, and I like it quite a bit. For vast majority of the people, it won't worth the price that Filco is asking for, but in my opinion, if you work on computer a lot, and can afford it, I don't see why not.

P67 Motherboards that don't block DIMM 1 with a 212

Hm? That board only has four DIMM slots. This is from Asus: According to Intel® SPEC, the Max. 32GB memory capacity can be supported with DIMMs of 8GB (or above). ASUS will update QVL once the DIMMs are available on the market.

Gigabyte ga-p67a-ud3-b3 lga 1155 ???

To OP: Gigabyte ga-p67a-ud3-b3 is a good board for its price. Now, as to whether or not it's a good gaming board, that largely depends on what you plan on doing with it. If you need more than two SATAIII ports, then you'll either need to go with another brand or spend $300+ on the UD7 board...
